  • What about a AM3 socket is installable???

  • @schranzwar

    Yes

  • does somebody know a middle-good full liquid water cooling system with CPU and 2x VGA Cooling?

  • @Stacklucker something like XSPC Rasa 750 RX360 + a 120 or 240 and 2 EK water blocks. wont be cheap

  • why the fuck cant companies lap the surface of the block at the factory?

  • false hair!!!!!!!!!

  • love your presention can i do this to an xbox

  • @shabamog fail sir, fail. XDDD

  • thick copper = bad

    smooth surface?.... = verry bad.

Aluminium + copper? = damn bad

Thermaltake watercool sets are verry bad and pritty gay

  • @scuffieduffie why is thick copper and a smooth surface gay and bad?

    smooth surface= better heat transport

    thick copper= bigger cooling surface

correct me if i`m wrong. don`t hate on me;)

    grz

  • @ludekogamer

Smooth surface was a bit sarcastic, becouse if u watch the vid it doesnt look like a verry smooth mirror polished surface

Thick copper is bad becouse the heat and cooling source must be as close to each other as possible.

Compare it with a blower on a hot summer day, if u have your head in front of it it feels a lot colder as when you are on the other side of the room.

Alu+copper in same loop the alu will corrode.

And its bad quality set,a good extensive set is around 200/300$

  • @scuffieduffie This video is 5 years old dumbass, Why does no on ever read the description and use fucking common sense. Things were different back then.

  • @foxyjimbtinternet

Why dont you just buy a thermaltake kit?

  • @scuffieduffie Because i don't do water cooling.

  • shall we put any sort of heat dissipater on the southbridge? nah

  • how often do you have to change the coolant? does it require a cleaning like a fish tank?

  • @WilliamBrothers

    yes you have too!!

but only ones every month ..

  • @scorpien32 ummm no as long as you use treated (to prevent corosion) distilled water and have a perfectly sealed system then it would last a long time and would more recomend every six months and only then thats because the colour will start to fade.

  • @Bobbysam232 you use coolant That comes with It

  • what kind of water that I use, may be the water that we drink or is there a specific for it

  • @edicaneves distilled water usually

  • this is so hot because its a pentium 4 wichare musch hotter than even oced core i7s because they have high fsb untill they came out with duel cores, so a modern system would run way hotter with this system, btw the bigwater 735 its just an update of this

  • can this system install on a Phenom II X4 965 cpu on an AM3 motherboard?

  • @FSXman1000

you can get kits for am3 sockets and all stuff can be brought seperate hope that helps

  • @FSXman1000 yes I have one on my AMD Phenom II 955 BE, I bought it a year and a half ago... it looks nothing like this kit, they have revised it greatly. The pump, for example, is a 500 liter/hr rather than a 120 liter/hr. The block does not light up and is a much smaller design now.

  • @AutonomousAudio how much does it cost?

  • @karn33333 It's like $150

  • great review 5*****

  • The bigwater kits aren't too bad if installed correctly. I would recommend picking up some bigger barbs and tubing. Depending on your system, a 240 rad would nicely go with it.

  • So this kit or the Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H50? About the same price?

  • @krzytom81

Well considering the H50 is half the price and half the complexity, I say go for the H50. Besides, I've heard mixed reviews on the Big Water kit

  • @Pezdetz666 Sounds good thanks.

  • @Pezdetz666 but it says you dont need refills for the the liquid cooling but it will dry out and u would lose performance each year/months

  • I prefer your hair now :D

  • Holy shit I'm getting better temps on air alone, why the hell would I buy this?

  • @sweetbilly thermalshit fails with liquid cooling

  • Boy that's no joke seaturtles, my cpu is running stable at 39 degrees all the time on air with an X4 processor and dual vid cards! He was running 41 DEGREES AT IDLE??? and 58 DEGREES UNDER LOAD??? My core temp is only 42 with a 20% load!! Granted it's an older product but it should actually cool the cpu shouldn't it? It's that what water cooling is for?

  • i had read and seen reviews about this product they say the radiator has air restrictions which makes it loud and the tubes are too narrow and the pump is weak and burns out after a month,i would recommend corsair h50, swiftech, koolance, or dangerden products

  • I heard the swiftech has problems with leaks if it's not sealed correctly. The H50 is supposed to be very good though. CoolIT Systems DM-1000 is also supposed to be very good, it's also got a digital LCD panel. I'm trying to find something that will also cool my GPU's

  • this is old

  • this a an older product applied to an older cpu, and the older chips ran hotter

  • its a much older product on an older chip, which runs hotter, not to mention the massive overclock on this processor

  • @sweetbilly this is a very old system (2002) of course you will have beter temps but your system will never be abile to cool its slef down like mine (liquid cooling)

  • @sweetbilly Why would you buy ANY technology that was new 4 years ago?

  • I wouldn't - unless my CPU was four years older - but even four years ago this was still crap for cooling.

Besides, water cooling is still the same in principle so the tech hasn't changed all that much.

  • could someone please telll me if this is the bigwater 735?

  • The radiator, waterblock, coolant, and tubing is the same, but the pump and reservoir aren't.

  • 1:47 - LOL scraches ...... this CPU WB you can throw away !

  • my question is how do u plug in all the thins into the fan input when theres only one fan input?

  • can i have the price plz

  • just got it from xoxide for 233 ish on sale not sure if its still on sale tho

  • my bad did not watch the vid thought this was the ont for the thermaltake Armour lcs CASE

  • it isn't made anymore if you go for the step up it is called the bigwater 735 it is only 60 bucks us buy it at the thermaltakestore . com

  • i wish watercooling set ups didnt cost 200 dollars =/

  • i Just bought a whole thermal take water cooling kit (everything you need) for 30 bucks brand new at radioshack on sale

  • If you want the best quality and reliability, be prepared to pay up. :)

  • ok so if i wanted to sli 2 gpu and 2 cup would i need to get more than i radietor i only though tof this cuz of the vid

and No im not gonna use 2 cpus just fore gaming

  • let me try again

    2 SLI and 2 CPU

should i get 2 or more radiators? i need to water cool the gpu due to the size of fans and y not add the cup to it if it'll work. and in not using it JUST for gaming but why wast a good gpu :)

  • 2 CPUs? You mean a dual core?

  • no im think more like a server bord that has 2 different cpu "ports" like the skulltrail system

  • yuo can have 2 cpus on a mobo, just its rediculously stupid and unneeded

  • I knew you used to be able to years ago but I didn't think they still made them. And yeah it sounds kinda dumb.

  • I would disagree, I have had several multi-cpu systems with single core through to quadcore per cpu and its fucking awesome for VFX work.

  • VIVA LCS

  • Im getting tired of this guy where is his wife again?

  • Is it compatible with AMD 550 and Thermaltake V9?

  • Comment removed

  • ahhh theres a newer version, and i think it does,

but dont buy a pre fabed one like this, you can get the same temps with a good air cooler

  • Same question it says on tt site that support K8 thats am2 and if it fit on am2 it will fit on am3

  • yes

  • Yes it can.. But ur to big of a noob to be able to install it :P

  • Ahhh i want a water cooling system!

  • is it better to go all custom or to buy this since its my first time?

  • custom is better

  • Shouldn't distilled water be optimal for cooling? Or do I have my thoughts mixed up? After all it would be safer to have that since it doesn't transfer electricity. Sorry for my poor english, I am swedish. =P

  • sverige är bögarnas land :P

  • bra svar...

  • förstås

  • you have great english skills. i don't know why you worry (lol)

  • Well, in case i make one single mistake i dont want some random asswipe picking on me. ^^ and thanks.

  • yeah. well i aim to please

  • won't the aluminium radiator react with the copper heatsink???

  • Yes, galvanazation.

Don't mix metals, unless it's a nickel plated waterblock with copper radiators/waterblocks.

  • Jeez, I'd better be careful when selecting components then. Is galvanisation in any way similar to rusting or oxidisation?

  • Yes. You should look up the wikipedia article on galvanization, because I'm not quite the expert on that.

Koolance used aluminum radiators; avoid those.

Danger Den is great for pretty much every thing in your watercooling build except for full mobo chipset cooling (NB, SB, and mosfets). That you can get from Koolance. It's nickel-plated, so you don't have to worry about it mixing with your copper waterblocks/radiators.

BTW, use overclock (.) net if you have more questions. Same name there.

  • Thanks, I really appreciate the help.

  • Any time, my friend :).

  • Comment removed

  • you don't have some old part that you can give me?? plz!!!

  • this kit is actually an awesome deal and you can upgrade it very very easily by the time you're done getting another radiator and pump its still cheaper than a switft tech and performs the same. i oc my 7750x2 to 4.0ghz which is pwnage in my book

  • i has AMD athlon 7750 x2 2,7GHz, with fabric parameters it is 50ºC idle and 62ºC full.

i want make OC but the sistem restar al 3,0GHz at 1 minute, you recomended me to buy this sistem to cooling the CPU to make OC with no restar sistem??

    thank you

    PD: sorry my english

  • i have the same processor as you but idle i run 37ºC and i only have 2x 120mm fans. i can OC to 3.0 on air. im going to buy this kit and hopefully get it a little higher.

  • some days the temperature is 22 º -24 º and I can keep OC to 3.0 GHz, but on hot days of 26 º -28 º can not keep the OC with air cooling (with aerocool silverwind) :(

for example today it is 22 º C and the CPU temperature is 46 º C at idle and 2.7 GHz if I make OC to 3.0 GHz the temperature rises to 52 º C idle

  • 41c idle thats crap, i know its overclocked a little but its a P4!

  • ehm, have a look at theyear kid.

  • Pentium 4 CPU's are 90nm, the latest 775 and i7 CPUs are 45nm.

  • dont buy kits!!!!!!!

  • Just curious. Since I've never really owned a water cooling system. Can these things run on just water? I don't mind refilling often really. But from the local shops I've looked around in coolant seems pretty scarce.

  • no sry

  • i love how he says: "it is virtually silent"

  • Can u recommend a water cooler for phenom 9950 for under $125?

  • this kit is okey

  • Buy :

    Pump +Tank 100$

    Tube 20 $

    Waterblock 100$

    Coolant 10 $

    triple 120MM Radiator 100 $

you gonna have a Big Chit System For 125$

    your Phenom Gonna Blow ,

    Happy WC

  • fans?

  • Thermaltake's bigwater's aint that bad IMO. They do the job and are way better than air. My only complaint is the barbs are G1/8" in most parts of the loop. And the rads are crap, ally fins w/ copper pipes looped thru. My 2x120mm out of my bigwater 745 still does a great job somehow. Q6600 @ 3ghz, while pretty much idle (watching vids) core temps are 26,24,23,24 (celsius) :)

  • nice haircut on htat old video :D

  • Can you attach it to the Northbridge and the GPU aswell? just to cut the tube and attach it to the bridge/GPU.

    im kinda new on watercooling^^

  • yes

  • So yours doesn't leak, it still corrodes, it doesn't beat air cooling like TRUE 120, IFX-14, Noctua P12, how good can it be?

Thermaltake is not the brand for WC quality, better brans are enzotech, dangerden, thermochill. You are just one of those nubs that that fell for Thermaltake's line of gimmicks. Congrats!

So I did a google search for "Thermaltake Bigwater Crap"

  • This is garbage, corrodes, leaks, worse than all the high end air cooling. Search it up on computer forums, 99% of those that knows WCs will say this is crap

  • lol.....i have it and it don't leak by me......so don't bullshit

  • If you are lazy to the link, some dude brought a POS and asking on the forum, the first reply was:

"Your first problem is the brand. Stay far FAR away from TT, especially for liquid cooling. To be blunt, their watercooling products are complete crap. They don't cool worth a crap (as you've seen) and are very prone to leaking, corroding, and pretty much just everything you don't want with a watercooling setup."

  • I've been really happy with my case though, it's built like a tank and has great airflow, I have one of the older full size Armor series cases...

  • 120L per hour is the downside of the kit. The newer thermaltake kits do around 500L per hour increasing cooling performance. This still doesnt justify it. Its good allround but if your an overclocker get a bigger pump. The blocks are awesome. Radiator is decent. Pump is just a tad slow.

  • 58° full load? i think is a "ass product". We can buy another water cooling pieces and get more performance.

    overall.. bigwater is cheap.

  • THIS IS USELESS WHEN U HAVE 10 FANS

  • Thermaltake watercooling kits are evil. They are actualy evil and ruin rigs daily.

  • The waterblock for this kit is useless. When you tighten the nuts enough to stop it from leaking, the acrylic cracks, and leaks everywhere

  • ThermalBreak is one of the worst W/c kits on the market, if you are going to start watercooling do it yourself and don't buy this cheap shit.

  • it's not that easy, the best way is to use a kit.

  • whats the best water cooling kit i can get for around 130$? everyone said TT is shit buy my friend overclocked his 2ghz more with TT and idk what to get

  • Get a swiftech h20 120 or 220.

  • Plain and simple.

If you're only wanting to cool your CPU, ThermalTake is FINE. However, if you want to cool more chips than go buy separate parts.

If you can find one, get the TT 850 (not the 850i there more expensive). Do NOT buy TT flowmeters and any drive accessories. These were discontinued due to how faulty they were. My mate lost a lot of equipment due to the faulty drive bay extras.

  • i was wondering how is the coolit domino alc or w.e its called. ive heard mixed reviews?

  • It is as good as the largest air cooler, but it is not equivalent to good water cooling systems.

  • Sounds like a good buy!

  • this is over 2 years old now. It's not any good for quad cores.

  • is the Thermaltake Thermaltake Bigwater 735 good for cooling a intel dual core ??

  • its pretty good

  • Water cooling FTW

  • Maybe THIS water cooling.

  • FUCK YOU!

  • ok i was like all you noobs i was afraid to do it but just fukin do it dont be a pussy i got it first try and it owns

  • ti bloody idiot

  • where do ya put it all in the case dose it screw in somwhere

  • velcro

  • this person is right-!!

i owned a thermaltake bigwater 745 and the cpu block cracked around the barb and leaked.

also the pump is underpowered 400ltr/s an hour, my new build has a swiftech pump 1200ltr/s per hour.

    just cheap shit

  • so what would be the advantage over the swiftech kit? idk what water cooling kit to get

  • is it nercessary to use the radiator?

  • how else are you going to get rid of the heat??

  • i must agree

  • cool

  • big typo in the last post, damn laptop keyboards.

  • lol

  • ive watched a number of his videos toverly long like theyre very thorough and to the point, not overly long like some others and not too short. keep up the good work man, ive become a fan

  • This guy loves getting his finger prints all over the copper shim.

    /shame on you!

  • hey, i have a question would a 850WATT True power be enough power for that system? +

    i have a 9800Gx2, Q9450 @ 3.2 1.3V , and an antec 1200 :D Thanks Awesome Review

  • What About Am2??? Can It Be Installed On That? Sorry If Its A stupid Question?

  • maybe they have different water cooling for am2 :D

  • Great review Rod.

  • You dont need to go as far as getting a Anti-static wristband (thats just hyping something up.. good marketing)

    Nice review aswell.

I shall be installing my kit today :D

  • A question... 120 liters sounds like... shit?

  • I'm curious how important is it that you ground yourself to the chassis. I hear bout it all the time and yet I don't see very many that do it...

  • VERY important simply hold onto a metal part the case, or get a antistatic wriststrap.

  • I used to modify stuff "live" with the computer on. Stopped doing that after I ruined a 8800... So huld on to the PSU!

  • is any water cooling system compatible with any mother broad example the Ryan motherboard

  • No.

  • how necessary are these liquid cooling devices are they really just for people who overclock?

  • Once you start getting CPU speeds into and above 3.2GHz, you should really start to consider water cooling. But for most people, especially people who buy factory built computers, air cooling should suffice.

  • hehe, im getting a ZALMAN 9700 thing, its one of the most awesome air coolers out there

  • he buys everything and then he reviews it ? or the company gives him to review it ??

  • The company gives him the items, he has talked about it in reson videos!

  • will this be able to fit in a dell dimension 9100

  • will this work with amd AM2 cpu?

  • yes

  • prefer

  • thank you GAME MAN!!!

  • Lol the nut.

  • LOL!

  • Anyone of you, knows the difference between thermaltake VH6000BWS and thermaltake VH6001BWS?

  • is the bigwater SE a newer version of this kit?
