There are a couple of nice pockets on the south side, but it's definitely the most violent and corrupt part of our fine city. Chicago was the murder capital of the US in 2008 because of the out of control violence that is heavily concentrated on Chicago's south side and west side. I have an objection to this, I really hate it when people from another countries, even other states describe the entire south side as POOR. This is not hardly the case, most people don't realize how divided the south side is, in it's division from the other "sides" of the city. FYI there are million dollar homes on the southside, Barack and his wife lived in one of them. The south side is also not mostly black, there is a "white" southside & a "black" south side.

We are under the control of Arnold Swartzenegger, the Terminator. Under his rule, my husband, who was a teacher that mentored many fatherless boys & helped everyone, lost his job due to budget cuts. The kids are being taught how to pass a test that determines if the school gets funding for the next year. Alot of teachers lost their jobs,he now has to be a security guard. We are losing our home due to out of control land development & our gas is almost $5 per gallon.There are no jobs in OrangeCo.

Production values are outstanding--visual editing, sound, etc.

The narrative flowed well. The tone was perhaps a bit negative. For example, to say one must either be an idealist or a realist is a false dichotomy, a simplification.

Really tantalizing insights in 17 minutes--it really calls for a longer treatment.

Overall I really appreciate it, despite some factual errors pointed out by South Siders in the comments below.
