WoWWee toys SYCHED up and happy about them for the first day... 2nd day... maybe the 3rd... then never touch the thing again... waste of money imo.

this runs on 6 C batteries plus a CR2032 battery for running the internal clock. it can also be powered by an AC adaptor.

It was made to be expandable. There is software for changing the personalities, but so far WowWee has not released any new personalities. When they do, you will be able to download them for free and change them.
