  • How to hold a softball bat and hit a fastball.... Typical Expert Village Idiot video

  • How to hold the bat for a fastball? How the hell do you know the pitcher is going to throw a fastball, telepathy?

  • LOLZ

  • I hit better with my right hand on bottom and i am a right handed batter

  • You might be a lefty then. I had a friend who had his right hand bottom and was a righty and he later found out that he hit better lefty.

  • lmfao he should take is own advice and try and hit the ball with his "knuckles aligned" b/c i don't know anyone thats normal that can swing a bat like that.. try it out you have to turn ur wrist so much wtf... please hit the ball i wanna see if u break your wrist from impact lmfao... dumbass

  • i totally agree lol

  • @DirtBiker205 The joints in your fingers are also considered knuckles. I'm assuming this guy means the 2nd set of knuckles should align with the 1st set (base set). Otherwise I don't see how you'd get a good swing.

  • @thekth Well, I think you're the only one that considers joints as knuckles. The knuckle is actually called the metacarpals and the other "knuckles" I assume you're referring to are your phalanges. If that's the case, they are nothing alike. I don't consider a phalange even close to a metacarpal.

  • @DirtBiker205 I seriously doubt I'm the only one, since that's what they are. You're probably the only one that calls them your phalanges instead of knuckles.

  • @thekth You can keep doubting all you want, look it up kid. You're wrong. Your Knuckles are your Metacarpals, your lower "knuckles" - joints which normal people call them are called your phalanges.

Learn anatomy before you speak lol. The definition of a joint is - the point of connection between two bones or elements of a skeleton (especially if it allows motion) Your Metacarpals are stationary, your phalanges or joints are movable. get owned

  • @DirtBiker205 I'm real proud of you that you learned the medical terminology in your middle school bio class, but that doesn't change the fact that they're all "knuckles". Joints are movable, the metacarples are stationary, that's all fine & dandy, I'm not arguing any of that. I'm just saying they're all considered knuckles. Read your own post, you just agreed with that and referred to them all as knuckles, I'm not sure what you're arguing about or what you think I'm trying to say.

  • that dudes grip is way wrong. your supposed to align your knuckles so you can point your index fingers and they both go straight out

  • he puts the bat to far in his palms he needs to be out on his fingertips more

  • ty cobb separated his hands, he was a good hitter

  • are you sure your not talking about honus wagner? maybe they both did and they are both great hitters but I just heard honus wager split his grip

  • they both did

  • yea but ty cobb was just angry... thats why he could hit so well... he was always just so angry...

  • mmm OK?

  • it is a softball bat, look at his shirt.

  • id like to see this guy actually hit a ball.

  • its not a softball bat

its a bat thats used to strengthen the hands and the forearms

  • Explain to me why he's using a softball bat?

  • baseball bat

  • nice
