If 2bar can't make it, you are still living in the past my friend. Nowadays with the right mod and support, 2bar or 32psi is very common already.

Touch wood, My car is still going strong, even today @ 2.2bar :-) but on average the piston rings will have to be change in about 1.5 to 2yrs time. Then again its just USD$300 + worksmanship every 2yrs for such a wonderful sleeper.

If you are 300whp rwd you should be able to run with that SOHC EK but I think he dekitted already. You will have no chance against the DOHC EK until you have at least 500whp RWD or 700whp AWD. Sorry I can't review the number plates for Ethics code reasons.

Yours is rwd car, so around 500whp you should be on par with that EK, then skills on gear switch would be crucial. But if you are 4wd car like those evo or rex, then at500whp you still cant stand a chance due to power to weight ratio distributed to 4 wheels as compare to the EK 2 wheels.

FD3R.......cool! my dream car. It would be interesting to watch if you go against the DOHC EK turbo. But I dont think you are his match now @ 300whp...........you can give it a try if you want. Let me know the result.

hi bro, just wan to clarify. you ride is 606 bhp. Then will decreasing your bar from 3.1 to 2.2 lower your bhp? Just curious (:

3.1bar? If I really run 3.1bar I would have to change to forged internals and custom dog gears already.

Bro, mine is only 2.2bar or 32psi. Yes if you lower your boost, your bhp will also drop.
