Yes it is. My mom did that in the Shrine Circus, 60 years ago, in an act called "The Peach's Sky Revue". Only she did it 100 ft in the air, and without a net. Rebecca Ostroff does a modern version of it. She did it in the movie, 'Water For Elephants'.
