I just heard this song for the first time a few days ago (despite being a longtime fan of The Fray), and my god, I must say that it's just genius. As dark and depressing and angry as it is, I just can't stop listening to it! The Fray is by far one of the best bands I've come across in a long time. Maybe even better than The Beatles. Haters will hate.

He then explained the day I invited him to church, he had a gun and was going to end his life in the library after school. i dont mind a little bit of emo, i love coldplay for example, but this song would be SO MUCH BETTER if it WASN'T about self harm and suicide. its got a great melody etc. but its just ruined by the subject matter...got nothing against songs about suicide if some people are into that kind of thing, but im just saying this song is a bit ruined cause of it :(

This song is absolutely beautfiul. It's about cutting and I think it describes it perfectly. Especially 'cause this is a more "agressive" song. And to me, little house refers to her problems that were caused by painful things that happened at home..(sexual) abuse I guess.
