@glorp896 My data is more recent and this fact is replicated in much of Europe too. BLACK AFRICAN immigrants have a high academic ethic.. it is this study ethic which is similar to that seen in much of Asia that drives this academic success, not genetics. When you compare these rates against US born blacks, it becomes obvious what subjugation, racism and poor access to jobs does to any group of people. This phenomenon is studied widely in many University Sociology courses globally.

Also understand the inventor of the IQ test has gone on record warning people NOT to use the test to compare different cultures because the sampling error introduced when you do so, invalidates the test. The problem is that a lot of people don't take the time to study sources or primary materials, and rely too much on other people to "interpret" things for them. Research takes time and so does reading. But it is an invaluable tool in your critical thinking bag.
In my case I see the situation as follows: There are lots of people running around speaking on the topic with confidence who _clearly_ are not in a position to do so. They don't understand statistics and experimental design, they don't understand what makes a good taxonomy, they don't understand correlations and the difference to probabilities etc etc etc. And it doesn't take a lot of expertise at all to know this.
It's an interesting phenomenon for sure. I am not working in the field either but there are a few things that many people who don't operate in the sciences don't seem to understand: there is plenty of transferable knowledge between fields. Experimental design, statistics, data analysis are broadly used between many fields. The second is how to deal with literature. Scientists constantly read into new literature and have a knowledge of how to approach academic publications.
It is funny that people assume, just because you know a little bit about said topic, you have a degree in the field. Then again, it is easy to pretend like you do with a Ph.D. from google scholar. :P

This is a lie i saw her do race and IQ research. BLACK AFRICAN immigrants have a high academic ethic.. it is this study ethic which is similar to that seen in much of Asia that drives this academic success, not genetics. When you compare these rates against US born blacks, it becomes obvious what subjugation, racism and poor access to jobs does to any group of people. This phenomenon is studied widely in many University Sociology courses globally.

Also understand the inventor of the IQ test has gone on record warning people NOT to use the test to compare different cultures because the sampling error introduced when you do so, invalidates the test. This is why in academic circles the test is NOT used to compare different cultures. averages of course are used, but of course a range of results is more honest - how can u dispute a wide range? even with these ranges the patterns hold and the stark contrast of negro inferiority is plain as day... simply calculate the median/mean from the ranges and show the difference

It's comforting how predictable the humble integrity of a true scientist always is - taking the time to prostrate them self, clarifying that they are not published nor professionally recognized as an expert within the realm of the debate at hand.
Yet, why is it that a true and pure scientist can always dissect and eviserate the life's work of a lesser scientist within their own domain?

The problem is that a lot of people don't take the time to study sources or primary materials, and rely too much on other people to "interpret" things for them. Research takes time and so does reading. But it is an invaluable tool in your critical thinking bag.

And yeah, taxonomy in biology surely is relevant.
In my case I see the situation as follows: There are lots of people running around speaking on the topic with confidence who _clearly_ are not in a position to do so. They don't understand statistics and experimental design, they don't understand what makes a good taxonomy, they don't understand correlations and the difference to probabilities etc etc etc. And it doesn't take a lot of expertise at all to know this.

It's an interesting phenomenon for sure. I am not working in the field either but there are a few things that many people who don't operate in the sciences don't seem to understand: there is plenty of transferable knowledge between fields. Experimental design, statistics, data analysis are broadly used between many fields. The second is how to deal with literature. Scientists constantly read into new literature and have a knowledge of how to approach academic publications.

@sofiarune Don't worry, I get a similar thing whenever I mention my study in psyche and social anthropology (deferred, till god knows when). I get "so your a psychologist, tell me", or on youtube "so you think your a psychologist now?..Prove it!"
Which would be rather difficult since I'm only 2 years into my course (5-6 yrs all up), I feel i'm doing well, but my feelings are hardly a degree, or a doctorate.
I merely mention studying, then I'm told I'm claiming to be a psychologist?

The point of people "confusing" or "attacking" (more likely) your authority by asking for your credentials is to undermine your authority so they can then claim an argument from false authority on your part.
This is pretty disingenuous.
It also blows up right in the face of the aksing person since your qualification, although not in the same field, is - at the very least - more substantial than theirs :D

The discussion immediately before and after that comment was about the race/IQ debate (which is currently in the field of psychology). This implied that I work in said field. I just want to make sure that people aren't under the wrong impression I don't work in psychology. I don't even work on the genetics side of the field. :)

This is a lie i saw her do race and IQ research. One time I was at the mall and I was like "what are you doin?" and she was like "just shopping for clothes" except she had a black child and a white child taking an IQ test and they were hooked up to electrodes. I was like "no you're not you're doing race and IQ research!" Then she dropped down a couple a smoke bombs and disappeared... Damn psychological geneticists with their test tubes and their black magic arts!
