  • love me some enya...nice.

  • -- However, this is a lovely version of this classic Christmas song. Kudoz to the person responsible for this post! And have a Merry Christmas! :-)

  • Wikipedia is not an accurate source for factual information. Anyone can post something on a wiki page; I would just like to point that out! Also, I sincerely wish more people would learn to use proper grammar and spelling on here.

  • @kelliBswagiN Wikipedia has numerous references that you can use to verify the article, if you dispute it's claims. It is quite accurate in the vast majority of cases.

  • Heil Odin!

  • Enya no, and definately not Celtic Woman.... Clannad, well, could be, the style is similasr to early Clannad, but I don't think that's Máire's voice, and I think I can hear more than one famale voice, would say a choir... Not Anúna, however, the sound is too simle for Anúna... So, no idea...

  • Mae hyn yn Clannad. Mae gennyf bob albwm a grëwyd erioed gan Celtic Woman, Clannad, a Enya. Clannad bendant.

  • The song seems to be slightly sped up from the original

  • Thankyou cherylclair.

  • Hmmm. Maybe this is not Enya. Sounds too much like Bon Jovi.

  • Ok, I think we get that its not Enya. :-P

  • This is not Enya, 100%...

  • Well you learn something new every time you go on the net. I had no idea that this song was about Jesus. I had heard that Henry had wrote it but didn't know for sure.

  • @freddypossy The original Greensleves was written by Henry VIII; he didn't write these lyrics.

  • @freddypossy this is not Greensleeves, its different lyrics with the Greensleeves music, Henry the eighth was rumored to have wrote it for Anne Boleyn his second wife but, its not true, check wikipedia for "greensleeves" to learn about the song

  • Nice song. Good cover, but not Enya. Not Moya either. I think is a chorus.

  • celtic woman

  • i don't care who this is by, the harmony is amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • I do believe this is not Enya...

  • Actually... I believe this is Clannad I recognise Máire Brennan's voice. Plus it is on one of my cds of Clannad. Máire sounds a lot like her younger sister Eithne (who is known as Enya).

  • I agreew ith you on that one (and I reckon it being on your Clannad CD kind of might be a definite proof *grins*)... plus, I don't think they actually have men on "Celtic Women"... ;-)

  • who sing this?

  • This is Enya. She has a beautiful voice, doesn't she?

  • Definitely not Enya. Not Celtic Woman either.

  • @samgamgeeisbrilliant I am pretty sure this is not Enya...

  • this is my favorite christmas carol :)

  • this is my favorite version of this song. funny that it is by someone who doesn't espouse christianity! I especially love the flute

  • Definitly not Enya.

  • Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing this!

  • this song is so purty!

  • This isn't Enya. Why does everyone automatically give her credit for everything sung by a female?

  • Wash 'ur ears, man. Can't u hear, that's her? U 're writing, and u dont even know what u r writing.

  • I'm very sorry to tell you that's not Enya. The name of the group is Celtic Woman, and I believe that is very clear this is not Enya, she's so far away from the style used in this version of the song.

  • Yes it's Celtric woman but I think Enya actually sang a few songs with them once and what child is this might of been one of the songs even though it's not her style.

  • cetainly sounds like enya

  • This is Enya with backup.

  • Yeah... if you think it's Enya then you have no real knowledge of Enya's style of music. The most obvious sign that this isn't Enya are the male voices, Enya backs herself up and she isn't male.

The second obvious sign, it doesn't sound anything like Enya's music.

  • what album is this off of? and where can I get it?

  • omg enya is so good

    tnx ^_^

  • nice version!!

  • nice! check my vids out.

  • Beautiful!

  • thanks! n_n

  • some i think thats compliments to the composer not the uploader.

  • What Child Is This was written by William Chatterdon Dix on Epiphany day in the late 1880s to the tune of the English song "My Lady Greensleeves".
