  • Great!! where can i get fhis track?

  • @enrique4d I don't think it was released yet.

  • The ONLY complaint I have about this vid is that on some parts of the song your backbeat didn't pop.

Otherwise, loving the groove and the patient musicianship. Not many people let the song breathe like this.

  • Nice, smooth playing man!

What kind of hi-hat is that you`re using?

  • hey man nice drummer....heyy wich drumhead do you put on the tom..emperor or ambassador??? thxxx

  • @vict0rg Thanks, they're ambassadors.

  • @rsm76 thx for the reply....!!!

  • Good job

  • He man,

nice tune! Nice playing! Love the snare! What model is it, and how did you tune it?!?

  • @Mauriesje78 Thank you. The snare is a 14 x 5 chrome over brass Gretsch. This the same model that Vinnie used at the Modern Drummer Festival, along with several other studio/live recordings/gigs. As far as tuning, I usually get the bottom head fairly tight and then start brining the batter head to a tension that sounds "good" with a nice pop without too much ring.

  • @rsm76 Thanks for the reply! Now that I see you vid again. I just realized I own a model just like it! It's a 15 x 5 chrome over brass, but then, hammered (also gretsch). Right now I have it tuned relatively low (lower that you have here) since I play several accoustic thing and don't need it to cut like yours does now. I'll try your tuning suggestion when I need it! Thanks! Keep the good work up!
