Never underestimate holy priests, they have the spec that allows them to stay alive in battle. A master holy priest as well as every mana using class uses their spells wisely and at the right time, their holy barrier comes in handy. I usually play the close combat type classes and Feral combat druid and protection Paladin. However, i studied every class there is in WoW. Sure they do have low health base and frail, but they have spells that can do shadow damage and holy spells to heal themselves.

Warrior - Charges into the fight, Melee Only

Rogue- Melee Only

Locks- Fear spam is no longer possible due to DR's and the fact that fear breaks after so and so damage

Mages- Fire has to get up close, Frost as well in order to kite efficiently

Paladins- The basis of a paladin is to try to stay at a range, as holy, as prot/ret they can mainly do melee

Dks, they're DK's, they cannot

Druids - LolFeral boomkin can't kite

Paladins - unbeatable stuns and specs. Shamans - 100% crit´abuse.

Druids - Barkskin, insane bear form survivability.

Death knights - can stop spell casting 300 ways.

The point is, we're all pussies in PvP, if it helps you win, do it. (I'll admit though, the mages AND the priest in this vid fucking blow.)

priests take a certain skill and each spec has advantages:

shadow (dps): crazy dps :) , cant cast healing spells :(

discipline (pvp healing): has spell called "penance" which is really op, basically a fast and cheap full heal :), less dps :(

holy (pve healing): Great heals :), owned in bgs :(

Just gem and trink Disc priest for haste, then you get pennance in a half second, and .47 second mana burns but you can also use it for mind blast + Holy Fire + Smite it is loads of fun I never lose to mages no mater what my spec or theirs is. Priests RULE!

The trick to win with a mage a priest is to go to an open place and wait until priest starts dpsing the mage, While priest dps you make sure you stole all the magic buffs from him when your HP is on 50% start dpsing him when u take priest 30% silence him press all power CD's and fuck his ass, that's it
