  • Is Mandy your relative, or family?

  • My god...Mandy looks gorgeous!!

  • On my way to try this look right now! lol, is Mandy your family btw? She is so pretty.

  • You're such a Michael Angelo!

    Well done, luv! *thumbs up*

  • :))) she looks terrified when you apply mascara :P

  • really good

  • so if we have dry skin then what type of brush would you recommend?

  • What is the brand of that blush brush you used on this video, and can you tell me how I can get one?

  • what other brushes do you recommend for blending the foundation?

  • seriously is this a true makeup tip video or a fake silly one???

  • is there a name for this technique? its amazing!

  • I can't wait to try this. Thanks!

  • am willing to be your model any day! ^_^

  • HEY MANDYYY!! mandys bloody brilliant

  • iliketaht

  • You are truly an amazing artist! I love this video as it is the first time I really think I "get" contouring. An important skill for turning he into she! :-) A

Are the products you used listed anywhere and if not, could you let us know what they are?

Thanks again for the great videos!

    Debby

  • Das ist richtig gut! Danke! ;)

    That's great. Thanks a lot!

  • without make-up she looks better

  • sir, i hope you could do contouring in women with circle faces i have a circle face and i want to make it appear a little smaller thanks you're very awesome :)

  • That was greatttttttttttttttt...love it!!!!!!!!!

  • I'll start RSPCM = society for the prevention of cruelty towards MANDY !

The poor thing just sits there patiently when apply, brush, blend, etc, etc

You artists are all heartless brutes!!!

    [can we subscribe to Mandy?]

    Kisses for all :)

  • i was quite scared at first cuz all the other tuts ive seen used powders instead of creams, but i actually like this finish than the powders

    great vid!

  • i like the way you did the makeup, it doesn't look like she has the foundation on and all that, it looks like natural beautiful skin

  • Love it. Short and sweet. Beautiful :)

  • i usually like ur tutorials! but you kind of made her look like an old man with eye shadow and lipgloss on!!!

  • omg i wish you could do my makeup!!

  • Where did you buy your fan brush?

  • awesome! I thought it was a joke at first, but it all came together beautifully! Ive never even thought about contouring and highlighting first!

  • your work is amazing!!!!!!omg!!!! 5 stars!

  • is Mandy your mom? you guys look kinda alike :p

  • She's a beautiful lady with and without makeup. Great tip regarding SPF on the decollete. I either cover this area or load it with sunblock when I'm outdoors. Moisturizing is also a must for this delicate place.

  • I usually like his vids but the application seems too harsh in this vid. He's really pulling and tugging on the skin.

  • which bursh is the first?

  • this looks great! ive never tried to contour with cream, but now i must try! also can i request a tutorial for oily skin? as in what products are good for it

  • YOU ARE A GENIUS.

  • Mandy is such a beautiful woman!!! You're a lucky bastard with her as a model ;)

  • I generally wear MUFE HD foundation in shade 118...what highlight and contour shades in that brand would you suggest? Thank you!

  • Becuase of you, I JUSt started highlighting with a very light concealer as a highlight. It's so much more convenient. Thank you!!!

  • Mandy looks sooo fresh, ah I want the spring to come again..

  • great -as always!

  • When you first started, I was like, wtf is he doing? Is this a joke video? And then I got it. Genius.

  • i have a question.. if i use the lighter foundation and a dark foundation, How do i know that my face is going to get my skin color? i already try it, but my face get more lighter than my skin color... what do i have to do?

    Thanks..

i hope you can help me!

  • That is just incredible. You make it look so easy! But she just looks sooo natural afterwards.

  • You are awsome!!! The best in youtube seriously!!! So happy to find your channel!!!

  • Fab!!

  • Beautiful!

  • Incredible job!

  • lol~~~~~~~ ~。! naughty~~~~

  • lol~~~~~~~ ~。!

  • Highlighting the cupids bow is a really good tip I will try it!

  • great look

  • hii:) loved this vid,, but am nc25,, what should i use in contour and hilight?:)

  • Does this look good in natural lighting?

  • To start off, I honestly love your work, but I have a question regarding the contouring of the temples. Most makeup artists I've met usually contour the temples, but whenever I read an article from a celebrity makeup artist (i.e. Megan Fox, Marilyn Monroe, etc.), I always see them highlighting the temples and contour either at the top or the middle of the forehead. Does it really just depend on the face? Thank you bunches!

  • really good! I love the model ;-)

  • Absolutely a-maz-ing video! Thought you had lost it for a few mins at the start LOL ;-)

  • very nice. does this really work in real life? I mean with such a dark contour? It looks beautiful on camera. should I use less contrast for a day look?

  • Favourite!

  • wow that was incredible..great technique!

  • at first i thought you were serious, then i thought this was a joke video, then i found out you were serious...

    the end result looks GREAT!

  • Fantastic! Thank you!!

  • I love that, it's a great way to contour without having to use bronzers etc.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks for all your tips. Yourgreat

  • Hi Wayne - Love your Work. Don't know how I would apply this to my bag of tricks...She did look better to me at the beginning, but for the lips and brows, so I am wondering....the lighting...? I remember in another vid you said that you use this in weddings. ? Wow - I do a lot of weddings and I would love to know more because I can't "see" it. Could you do a wedding vid? Or give me the name of one you've done so I can find it? Thanks again- You *ARE* the bomb **!**
  • You are a genius. LOVE your videos!

  • She looks beautiful! Amazing job as always. Thank you so much!

  • hi,love your work. just one question. You used the N50 to do the contouring on dark areas. But i´m already N45, so wich should darker skin tones girls use for this?

  • For me that look doesn't work Wayne... Not your best one. The contour is way too dark, really obvious. I wish you would have done something more subtle. I thought she looked better at the beginning of the video, before she had any makeup on.

    Just my personal opinion.

    xx

p.s. I still love you despite that video.

  • no outtakes? hehe, great video!

  • Wow, great video!

  • She is so gorgeous.

  • Mandy looks beautiful here!

  • very funny...and Mandy is very brave ;)

best video i saw explaining how to contour.

    i am loving your videos....

    kisses

PS: i notice that you have a bar code on your arm, can i by you? ;p

you would look very good on my home.... ;p

  • She look cute! =)

  • love it!

  • what do you think about using virgin coconut oil on the face as a moisturizer? as well as for the body and hair?

  • What do you do when your skin tone is already the lightest shade? Use white to highlight (ie- MAC F & B in white)? I'm a lover of Graftobian HD Creme foundation and already use Graceful Swan....

  • That was a lovely video! Keep it up xx

  • LOL loved when Mandy did your cheeky wink at the end Wayne! Thanks for doing this video .. I am trying to get into doing the same technique for contouring and highlighting rather than with powders so this was a great refresher! Love your videos btw! ;)

  • Great results!!!! I loved that Mandy winked like you always do!!!!

  • Doing this for school today :) I love your videos there really great! x

  • What brush were you using to apply the blush?

  • WOW! That was incredible!!

  • OMG! So I tried this today, using mineral foundation, and my contour/highlight palette from Coastal Scents. It looked AMAZING! I've tried contouring before, but could never get it to look right, it was always streaky and unnatural.

After using your method, my face makeup looked AMAZING! The best I've ever been able to do it! Thank you so much!

  • So I did the highlight on my cupids bow, and under lip today, and loved it! Plus I got a few compliments from the girls I work with asking what lip gloss / lip stick I was wearing (it's the same I always wear). Thanks for sharing that, I think I'll do it daily...

  • I love mandy!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing job as usual. can u suggest any other contouring products? i dont have mac in croatia.

  • How well does Mac's Full Coverage foundation do with photographs?

Is it good for pictures or no?

  • i want to try this method but i think when i do it, it will go terribly wrong

  • FANTASTICO!!!

  • Mandy - quite timeless

  • Another great tutorial - thank you! I love Mandy's cheek bones!

  • that was great! the apples of her cheeks really stood out :)

  • Love Mandy :)

  • I love her hair color!

  • i love the technique

  • Great wink Mandy - you looked lovely before and after; just a tad too much on the cheeks. It reminds me of slightly mature women who compensate for lack of 'glow' with too much blusher and that's not good. Wayne don't make this mistake, she had far too much going on the cheeks and the contour was far too dark, sorry if I am critical but it is not a good look.

  • I love when you work with Mandy!

  • Also, I tend to use mineral powder foundation. Would these techniques work if I used a powder contour and highlight product?

  • Masterful!

  • I always put spf on my boobs :) lol, cause red is just not cute and dangerous for the skin

  • Great vid. Many cool tips. Thx!

  • mandys great

  • Amazing!!!! You really are talented.

  • bravoooooooo

  • Could you please film a Inglot review ?

    Pleeeeaasseeeee :)

    Tnx !

  • Wow! Mandy is beautiful. I think that she looks amazing as a blonde too. Wayne, you are a wonderful artist:)

  • Haha at first i thought...poor Mandy with those two shades on her face. But after...amazing Wayne!! Mandy looks beautiful,i think that you both have a lot of fun together. Thanks Mandy & Wayne for this great video. xxx

  • hahaha the wink!!! I love Mandy, she's so beautiful and you do a great job:)

  • now i love you and everything. and im not sure if the way you were applying the foundation wiht hte brush and buffing it in the way you did in this video is becuase its your friend...but generally..if your buffing or blending anything and your moving the skin...rule of thumb..that means your doing it way to hard...just suggesting...skin needs a gentle touch...but fyi u dont have to be gentle with me ;)

  • great tut now i can contour with the darker foundation i purchased and it wont go to waste thanks a lot for this!!!

  • this is a great look :)

  • Mandy did the wink this time looool

  • she looks lovely! simple but with such a great impact. ill try this on my mom!!! =)

  • Your instructional vids are wonderful!

And I adore that Mandy did the trademark wink for us at the end

    (^.~)

  • She looked great, if you have dry skin and you are not to use the flat buffing brush what should you use instead? Thanks for sharing!

  • That's amazing!! Great job and she's a lovely model.

  • Have I said I love Mandy before? The artist in gossmakeupartist really says it all. :D

  • pretty! well executed!

  • The best!!

  • Woww! So beautiful and natural...You're an inspiration!

  • You are the first I've noticed to use Inglot. I love those shadows they are fantastic. l'm goin back to NYC for more soon

  • at first i thought by using the stippling brush to blend in the contour & highlight foundations...it would become muddy...but it didnt! it actually looks nice and healthy!

    xoxo,

    kim

  • Haha Mandy always looks like she's about to burst into uncontrollable laughter when you're doing her makeup! Love her! <3

  • She looks like Jamie Lee Curtis here ;-) Great job

  • Another terrific Mandy tutorial! Thank you

  • Awesome...Looks gr8...

  • she looked younger after! amazing:)

  • i really like your explainations. its pretty easy to follow your directions. and hey, someone else was winking into to the cam.... really like it. and grettings from germany to mandy too....

  • hahahahha wink

  • damn... so good<3

but no wink this time? D:

  • You are so skilled. Also, it helps to have a model like Mandy. She is super cute! Thank you, again.

  • Awesome tutorial Wayne. Thank you (Thank you too Mandy!!!). :)

  • mandy has great bone structure. she must be good friend to agree to having paint-by-numbers splotches on her face in the beginning....lol....great job!

  • wow, she is gorgeous! and i love the tip about the shadow on the lips.. it definitely looks like she is wearing gloss! i can't believe there's no gloss!!!

  • You did an awesome job, you are the blending KING!

  • its cool to see that you use inglot cosmetics:)

  • Her skin looked amazing! You did a fantastic job:)

  • beautiful!

  • Mandy is back- woo hoo! And you taught her the wink- Great wink Mandy! She is soo pretty! And you did an awesome job with her makeup! xo

  • Wow - her skin looks so nice in the end! I like how she winked!!! :)

  • hah! she vinked!

  • mandy looks stunning here

  • WOW!!!!! Awesome!

  • i love you.

  • mandy is beautiful

  • so what do you use to blend if u have dry skin?

  • ive noticed you tend to go a bit higher than the cheek/"apples" when applying blush, why is that?

  • @frenchiinhale he already explained that in another video. Applying blush on the higher point of the cheek will make you appear prettier and "youger-looking" whilst applying it on the cheek or under the cheek is not going to have the same effect.. for example, he said that many gurus say you should smile, but smiling will cause you to apply blush on the lower point of the ceek..

  • Wow- this was sooo cool to watch. I mean- you did some serious contouring and made it look easy.. I would also love to be your close friend and come over and have you do my make-up too!!! lol Lucky girl!

  • Amazing work!!! You are both gorgeous!

  • That was a smooth and simple contour video i have seen by far.

  • Oh Wayne, I love watching your contouring videos...I learned how to use my giant Coastal Scents concealer palette to contour this way, and it looks great! Unfortunately my sister stole it from me :/ It's just the coolest way to contour if you have an extra five minutes (cuz that's all it takes if you do it his way).

  • She looks exactly like Jamie Lee Curtis

  • i miss the outtakes!

  • yay, she did the wink ;-) fab tute. the skin really does glow.

  • mandy is beautiful, love her cheekbones

  • Your model, Mandy, is a strikingly beautiful woman. Even more so when you got done with her. Bravo!

  • great great

    tu es un magicien

    Leïla

  • Wayne, you are beyond awesome! As you were highlighting, I was like he forgot the cupid bow! MY OH MY! You got me there! That's a superb idea!

Now when will you do a brown skin lady? I'm dying to see the same technique on a brown skin! This just superb!

  • I loveeee the Goss WINK ;)

  • Mandy is beautiful - wonderful bone structure. :)x
