WHat I would really like to see is a reconstruction of a couple of floors of the WTC using the same materials, steel, concrete and all and then launch an airliner at it along a track to see what would happen. The front facade of the building would have crumbled under the immense force/pressure it was under and the steel beams would have given way to allow the aircraft to "penetrate" the building. Lets not forget that although an aircraft is made out of alot of aluminium, there are still components made out of titanium, steel, ceramics etc etc.

If we take Flight 175 for example, with a reported speed of 580mph and mass of 132,880kg (took off 10,000 as a guesstimate for fuel burn). We get a figure approximately 4,388,295,560Joules. Worth over a ton of TNT. Not including the detonation of the fuel.

The front facade of the building would have crumbled under the immense force/pressure it was under and the steel beams would have given way to allow the aircraft to "penetrate" the building. Lets not forget that although an aircraft is made out of alot of aluminium, there are still components made out of titanium, steel, ceramics etc etc.
I'm sorry, but the no planes theory does not hold up WRT this.

Did some working out here. A 5.56mm Nato FMJ round weighing approximately 4g has enough energy (E=1/2mv^2) to scratch/dent a steel beam (approx 1762.2Joules). If we take Flight 175 for example, with a reported speed of 580mph and mass of 132,880kg (took off 10,000 as a guesstimate for fuel burn). We get a figure approximately 4,388,295,560Joules. Worth over a ton of TNT. Not including the detonation of the fuel.
Newtons Laws at work. What you saw is exactly what you could expect to happen.

Most guys who work on their car own a trolley jack. Most trolley jacks are made of steel and are heavy. Imagine throwing a trolley jack at a 767, the trolley jack would go straight through the aluminium skin and ruin the plane. Now try to set fire to the trolley jack using kerosene (parrafin) good luck getting it to "weaken" or "melt". On 9/11, the worlds biggest trolley jacks (WTC 1&2) were cut into pieces by aluminium and caught fire and "weakened" and "fell" into pieces. What a joke.

Mythbusters once did a test to see if a penny could go through your skull after dropping it from a tall building. However, due to air resistance, it only went 60-70 mph, not enough to kill you. However, thanks for being someone who is actually NOT a conspirator.

the nist report said FLT 175 was traveling @ 590MPH. just becuase they are wings doesnt make them weak, if a ground strike to a wing doesnt take it off or even get close to it, then why couldnt it cut through a few steel columns at 600mph. you make no sense, and YES a plane with the power of a 767 can indeed reach ~600mph at around 1,000ft, after a decent such as FLT 175. you sir are a troll so i will not be bothering you anymore, good day!

Um, just because the plane's altitude is low doesn't mean it has to go slow. I've seen with my own eyes jets at airshows traveling at 500+ mph barely 500 ft off the ground.

lol, not a 767-400 with cargo and crew and passengers. this is simple math. 100,000 lbs of thrust pushes this plane a max cruising speed of 568mph at 35,000ft. the air at 1,000ft. is over 5 times as dense as it is at 35,000ft. hence the plane would have to muster up more than 5 times its maximum power to achieve these speeds. i didn't see any extra engines on board...did you???

You do know that 90% of the towers steel supports were in the middle of the tower right? Not around the sides of the building.... Most of that was concrete and drywall, so yes it was completely possible for a planes wings to cut through a building like that.

The buildings would not fall down like that. If the heat were to melt this steel. It woulda been melting only a certain part on the floors. Not the FULL floor. With that in mind, when collapse happens.. One side would fall first. That's not how it worked. It fell like pancakes. Precision fall like it did is completely mind blowing.
