2) Can it be put on silent and vibrate when you receive a message?

3)Is it handy to type in the numbers with the touch screen? Can you press the buttons with your fingers as well or are they too small for that?

erm u have to check if the sim card supports GSM 1900, some only supports 850 i think.

there are 2 versions of this model.

the first one comes with lateral lights, but no bluetooth.

the 2nd one comes with bluetooth but no lateral lights.

so i guess yours is the latest version (:

The newest version of Hello Kitty 318 doesn't have the waving text light, but they do have the BLUETOOTH wich the old one doesn't have. Really too bad for the new one.
