Hey, I just happened to come across your video here. Really enjoyed it. I am 38 yrs old & have been living with Crohn's Disease since 2001, but have suffered from IBD since 1990, my Senior Year of HS. Currently in Remission & on Entocort & Hyosciamine sub lingual. I am battling depression & Heart problems now. Allergic to just about everything except air! Lol. Doc calls me his Enigma, but I'm staying strong & relying on The Good Lord to keep me in His loving & healing hands. Thanks for this!! :)
@DJTazzy1 Hi! Thank you so much. Sounds like you've been down a long road with this disease. I am glad that through all of it you are still trying to be positive. You are a strong person.
@bedroomdancing911 Something I was just wondering how long do your flair ups last and when you're having a flair up do you become lactose intolerant ? X
@trbw15 My flare-up's last different amounts of time. I have had some that only lasted a month and some that have lasted 6 months. I do not become lactose intolerant during a flare or when I am not in a flare.
@trbw15 I am so glad they have helped you. It's great you are online learning from others with IBD. Wishing you all the best and let me know if I can do anything for you.
This video was amazing. I have Lyme disease but two good friends of mind have ibd and this really helped me understand. Hope everyone in the video is doing okay! Xoxo
@bedroomdancing911 well losing a lot of blood about 10 times or more a day. Starting to feel tired. If i need another blood transfusion, I'm definitely getting surgery. Hopefully internal jpouch, If not then I'll see what I can get. Trying lots of food for the gut for now and probiotics. More and more i feel ok with surgery.
I have surgery tomorrow getting a j pouch at first i was super scared but i guess its not that bad just like any other surgery i hope it dosent mess me up im 16 and had crohns since i was 13 it scared the hell out of me at first when they told me i have it because i didnt know what it was and neither did my parents
@Badgamer1000 Just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your surgery. It is scary, especially at first. Please feel free to talk to me about anything. I will be thinking of you tomorrow.
@Badgamer1000 Good luck for tomorrow :) There's a bunch of people on this video (myself included) who are here for you to talk to post-surgery to share your highs and lows with. Will be keeping you in my thoughts for the next few days and weeks.
