0:27 "Ax somebody.." Just because there's a black chick and black guy sitting next to you doesn't mean you have to brother it up, Cenk. The fuck is wrong with him.
Haha a little off topic, but just as all black people seem the same to white people (as with those cops), do all white people look the same to black people?
my family we are arab/spanish and i am born with both traits but the spanish side of my family has a thing were we are very white as a kid until i get older i get darker easier my whole family is black and im white haha but cops pulled me over and its the same story 2 times it happend they came up to me for no reason to ask questions the 1st and 2nd i was j walking both times they seemed nice until i spoke suddenly i was suspicious because i speak different then the canadians fuck the police
It's not "privilege" to have your rights respected and defended, it's how it's supposed to be. Celebrities however, are the only ones who get the proper treatment. Young dark skinned men are not being deprived privileges they are being denied rights. It's a very important difference I think we need to remember. We cannot afford, even in cynicism, to begin to refer to our Constitutional Rights as mere privileges.
Please watch my story "TIFFANY LEBOUEF SEEKS JUSTICE" They hid my only evidence and lied about it then they made me "TAKE THE DEAL" or go to Prison for 9 + yrs. This is crazy shit. They have given me 2 strikes and one more brush with the law of any kind will send me to "PRISON FOR LIFE"..... HELP MEEEEEEEE
Ellen Barkin got pushed back by a police officer. Since she happens to be white, this conversation occurs all about how white people are "privileged" and are always treated differently than "blacks" (of course the only other "race"). Of course she grew up in the Bronx, and these people know nothing about her life experience, but this conversation has nothing to do with her or what happened.
fyi, police are trained to approach a car in a traffic stop with their hand on their hip because of the amounts of cops that have been shot when approaching a window like that.
I don't think it's really brutality but it's going to get blow waaaaaaaaaay out of hand because Ellen Barkin but she was being truthful. She did get pushed with both hands. I agree with Frank 100%.
I would think the only brutality that should concern Ms Barkin would be that done by her plastic surgeon.

For one thing Barkin isn't young anymore despite what that woman said.
Barkin doesn't know what brutality IS apparently and this hurts her credibility when she tries to bullshit like this. Come ON now.

There is two things I like to say regarding this story:
1.) Yes, "stars" sometimes ARE spoiled from all the superfluous pampering they keep getting.
2.) Americans have lost their sense of entitlement to being treated CORRECTLY by the police.
But maybe a sick wish for punishment comes with all the idiotic "christian" bigotry.

Want to talk about privilege? Want to talk about equal treatment?
Try pushing a cop, softly.

No one has a right to lay hands on you if you're not violating any laws.
Barkin, has every right to defend herself.
