If i sent you a copy of my modified barium swallow study where laryngeal penetraiton occurs would you be able to tell me if laryngeal elevation time is normal or not? I'm a 35 year old dental hygienist and for the past 6 months i have been suffering from aspiration. No one believes me. They say penetration is "normal". Somehow they are not seeing that i'm aspirating but i am. I cough afterwards until my lungs feel cleared. It's horrible not to be believed. thanks for your advice:)
