you know, arceus really ist all that great. i have one and yeah its stats were pretty high, but my tyranitars attack was higher than its attack while arceus was level 100 and tyranitar only 85. so i dont think its worth it :/

@eyekeeyoulots It's meant to tbe the jack of all trades. If your Tyranitar was Adamant and had better IV's then yeah, chances are it's Attack was higher. But Arceus' base stats are motherfuckign 120 all around, making it viable for anything. Can Tyranitar defend viably? No fucking chance.

From what I got from the movie, it's speculated that Arceus is powerful enough to set off a series chain reactions that can create worlds. So, when they say he is the god of all pokemon, they could mean it in a inderect manner (as in he didn't just sit down and create each and every pokemon). As someone said before, Arceus is probably their exemplum of the Big Bang theroy.

Sorry I don't really on the information from the games. They and anime are inconsistant in a lot of things.

Rayquaza is a protector of the planet, guarding it from hostile alien forces (Although sometimes it may be mistaken, see Rayquaza vs Deoxys) But that planet was one in a million. Arceus created the whole fucking universe. He WAS the Big Bang.

The R/S/E trio is nowhere near his achievements.

Arceus was around before the universe existed and even Created it. It's exactly what the pokedex stated.

Furthermore, in the movie, Arceus couldn't unleash all of it's power because it would greatly destroy Earth. He knew what had to be done, but did it responsibly, like a god should be. That's why he was caught several times, he wasn't using all power.

He was missing 5 elemental plates, which weakened him even more. Whatever anyone says, the fact remains that he is pokemon God.
