  • You are amazing, Danny!!!

  • I find this to be a lovely performance. One of my favorite pieces of music, done in a very delicate manner!

Leaves me with a smile on my face!!!!!!!!!

  • Out of tempo, but fine as well

  • I´m sorry, some things are ifferent to explain for a German ;)

  • That's OK. We just have different opinions about what can or can't be a solo instrument. Still, all comments are welcome.

  • Klingt leider sehr abgehackt... Glocken sind einfach kein Soloinstrument.

  • I used an online translator to find out that this comment says in English, "Sounds unfortunately very chopped off... Bells are simply no solo instrument."

Very interesting. Everyone has an opinion.

  • awesomeeee

  • great performance :D!

  • You were extremely fluid, very smooth, performing a complex piece by yourself. So you grabbed a wrong bell? What matters is that you didn't let it faze you and you kept on going! Bravo!

What bells were you playing? Malmarks?

  • Thank you. I always tell my bell choirs (and myself) that if they don't react to a missed note that most people will never know. It's actually rare that I do a performance that doesn't have some small mishap in it, but I try to keep an "I meant to do that" look and usually no one can tell or they're nice enough to quickly forget it.

Yes, these are Malmarks? Are you a soloist, too?

  • Alas, no, I'm not up to your skill level; I'm merely a long-time ringer [White Chapels] in my church's bell choir...although I DO have the ability--once I've learned my part--to pick up extra bells here and there to help out other ringers who might not be able to handle them at certain points in the piece.

I recognized the tonal quality of your set...Malmarks have a unique sound.

  • Great! Keep ringing!

  • Bravo!

  • Bien Naddins, tal vez me pasé.Tenga mi reconocimiento mas sincer Vd. y la interpretación.

  • that is quite amazing

  • congragulations anderson thats sound very nice very celestial and you ability whit the bells is amazing is a proces to hardly

  • hmm anderson isn't in this video.. :/

  • y esto? xd

  • Wonderful :D

  • Nice!

Look at my fathers version "Air from Bach modern - Piano Medley by Sepp Zink". It's very special!

    Have a nice day!

  • That was very cool.

  • talk about not hitting a bad note! haha

  • original!, I'd like to have that skill, very nice.

  • Very very good. That is a challenge to do that alone.

  • krozfan: I think it could be great to hear 10 people playing the bells.

  • Good Job Sir!!! I enjoyed it!!! Thats take A LOT of concentration...Stick with it!!!

  • is sounds very cool^^

the bell's sound is really fantastic^^

  • Very pleasant to hear, congrats :)

  • Perhaps I'm just not familiar with the piece, but the bells seem to lag behind the organ.

  • They lag for obvious reasons. The delay on the bell is after the sound is hit. Then again, during Baroque it was common to "lag". See some harpsichord compositions for that. :)

  • cool, but many mistakes :)

  • the timing was a bit off, but good overall

  • At first I tought it was just a joke when he rang the first note on his bell... I was completely stunned when he acually started grabbing the other bells and played the entire song!

  • wonderfull

  • Thanks. Didn't note the mistake on the first listen, but those are usually more glaring to the performer than to those listening.

  • I love me some air on G string.

  • That's pretty cool. I've usually seen this stuff done with 8-10 people playing the bells. It's amazing to see someone do it all alone.

  • pretty cool
