Compu-strike shows Jake has been hit by 34 standing strikes in his last 9 fight combined.

That is less than 4 per fight.

If Hendo catches Shields with a clean shot might put him down.

Henderson is ranked # 2 MW AND # 4 LHW.

Shields fought his whole career at 170lbs until 7 months ago. I think it is cool he takes such risks, but would rather see him fight at his natural weight.

Like every fight game, MMA is about accomplishments. Jake's fans talk a great talk, but their guy hasn't exactly ruled the world quite yet, as they seem to think he can. We'll see. There's no question he's great on the mat, but his stand up is technically average and his standing defensive poor, at best.

GSP would rape shields in the stand up of course! Jake wants none of that.

But GSP has never KO'ed anybody with one shot, he grins them into a paste on the ground.

It will go to the ground and Jake's BJJ is on another level compared to GSP, he is much bigger then BJ Penn so GSP will not enjoy a strength advantage.

Is possible that GSP will put him through the mincer but Jake for me has the ability, skill and talent to sub GSP

Off course he can sub Gsp, i even read that he admitted it him self, that shields has an advantage on the ground. You are correct about him never KOéd anybody, he often grinds them out with a mix bag skills. Matt hughes submitted Gsp so its not impossible, one misstake and the match could be over just like that. Much respect for Shields ceasar gracie ground game, but if i had to call it i would pick Gsp, more tools to hurt you with. Pretty hard to take him down as well, forced to the stand up.

Most of the top ten have between 1 and 5-6 top 30 wins. I do statistics, I don't know if it has anything to do with the UFC, I haven't crossed checked it yet. just got curious today.
