  • @cioncio glad i helped you :D

  • @StephLeGratteux can u please put the tab on madiafire or something.. cause mega upload is not online anymore, and this piece sounds AWESOME

  • @Rubenianovic done ;)

  • @StephLeGratteux thx awesome man awesome

  • MEGA UPLOAD IS OFFLINE:(

  • thanks bro !!

  • @Miguel14961 you're welcome, dude ;)

  • bro where did u get these tabs ?? the right should be repeating on 12 not 14

  • Nice lesson!

  • @Aristotelezz thanks :)

  • @StephLeGratteux I'm working on this peace. Í'm able to tabbing so that's not a problem. But to make music out of this will take a lot of time and pratice. And the part were you on the g-string have to tab the second and the 7th fret is a bit dificult to do. I'm able to make that distance but I have to stop to get my fingers in that postion. Well with pratice I'll get there. Do you have more of these tunes? I'love get more...

  • @Aristotelezz no I just posted 1 lesson, the rest is guitar covers and full covers, but some guitar cover looks a bit like "how to play" videos. I thought about recording Vivaldi Tribute but it's too difficult for me :P

  • Hey helped a lot thanks, i'm beginning to learn tapping now

  • @hardrockboy1985 Great ! Feel free to post a video comment here if you try it too ;)

  • this video helped me alot. many thanks sir.

  • @MasterShake43 Glad to help you dude, thanks for the comment ;)

  • I'm surprised this doesn't have at least 100,00 views because it sure will soon! nice vid

  • @joeyoshs Thanks dude. 20,000 is one of my best scores, it's not so bad, but yeah 100,000 would be better :P

  • what effects you use for tapping? I use tube overdrive and it sound quiet :/

  • @mits0takhs17 you need some reverb/delay and a slight phaser or flanger is also good :)

  • @StephLeGratteux Did i need also distortion or i can play it with overdrive? I try combination of 2 pedals digitech bad monkey(tube overdrive) and Dod-Fx75B (stereo flanger) and it still sound quiet. To get some good sound i must to tap very hard and if i tap hard i can't play fast. And something else...wich pickup i must to use? Treble, rhythm or both?

  • @mits0takhs17 I think it's better with distorsion but you can also tap in clean sound :D (check out Midnight from Satriani). About the pickup, no matter. Maybe you right fingers need some practise; when their edge will will harder, it will be easier to tap and no need to tap very hard.

  • Great vid i wish more had this format very easy to follow thx a lot!

  • @saltydog895 I'm glad this video can help :)

  • OMG YOUR A MASTER!

  • @TheMurillo666 he he thank you xD

  • thank you, i'll try!

  • @sdtn666 you're welcome; post some video reply if you want :)

  • This is really awesome! Did you come up with it on your own? I do remember seeing Paul Gilbert doing just a few bars of this song in a lesson, but not the whole thing.

  • @taztx25 Thanks. I don't remember exactly but I'm sure that nothing is from me :D. The 1st time I saw this version was maybe 15 years ago in a guitar magazine. I thought Paul Gilbert played the whole thing, or maybe this is not the paul gilbert version, I don't know :P

  • Thank you so much for such a great lesson, you've helped me a lot. Merci beaucoup!

  • @kojirotakeda You're welcome, I'm glad it helped you :)

  • @tavern93 Tahat's not a very hard stuff to play and it's good to start tapping :)

  • @StephLeGratteux. Merci.

  • so do i use standard tuning for this?

  • @jas68maro On this video, everything is in standard tuning (only the video posted before without lesson is 1/2 step down because my guitar was tuned like that at this moment).

  • Thumbs up :D,

    thanks man, awsm

  • U R great, many many thanks!!!!

  • @jerseystar1 You're welcome.

And thanks for the comment ;)

  • thanks a lot! with this i'm going to plug my guitar in an try; very kind of you to let us know how to play it!

  • @SuperACDC1967 You're welcome. Thanks for your nice comment. I hope this video will help you ;)

  • Is this not in e minor? The song is in d minor and Paul Gilbert taps the same lick but starts on the twelvth fret of the d.

  • @DimebagZappa No this is in D minor. Look at the played : D minor harmonic and melodic

  • @DimebagZappa No this is in D minor. If you look at the notes played, you will see some D harmonic and D melodic scales.

  • Effects? Im thinking either tape echo or delay with some reverb

  • @coletrainisback I don't remember exactly but you're probably very close to the truth...

  • Vu ton pseudo je pense que tu es francais :D

    Bravo pour cette vidéo ;)

  • @BlackFear78110 Merci. Oui bien vu, je suis français et j'ai d'ailleurs mis aussi une version en français de la video ;)

  • @StephLeGratteux

Je n'avais pas vu lol :)

  • hi men...me again...i would like to know what are the symptoms of tendinitis that you felt back then .... i want to avoid it.... (sings of alarm to take care of). i just wanna be prepared....so please give some advise based on your own experience. PD ( forgive my lame english)

  • @srojas7 No problem about your lame english, mine sucks too lol. Music is like sport : to avoid finger tendinitis, in hte beginning, you have to warm up about 5 minutes (for example, play slowly different licks of chromatic scale) ; then make a few stretch movements and after that play normally. And in the end when you stop playing, make some stretch movements again. There is some Petrucci warming up and stretching videos on youtube that can help for the movements (fingers, wrist and shoulder)

  • @srojas7 About what I felt before. First I had little ache when I wake up in the morning when I bend my finger. Then 1 hour after when the body is totally woken, no ache anymore. And no ache when I play . So after a few days with ache only in the morning, I have been woken up in the night by a violent ache on the finger. But at this moment it was too late and it was a real tendinitis. In fact, the sign of alarm is when you start to feel ache in the morning. At this moment you have to be careful.

  • i want to know why do u have tendinitis and what the doctor said to you about that... great playing by the way

  • @srojas7 Thank you. I played a lot of guitar between september and december; I tried to improve my technique and made a lot of exercices. Too much work with my finger without warming. Usually when you have tendinitis, you have to stop playing at least 2 or 3 weeks and if that doesn't solve the problem, you should have a scan of your hand to see how is your tendon. If you don't stop playing, things can deteriorate; your problem can stay more time and sometimes stays all your life...

  • thanks dude its help me to perfektion my tapping =)

  • @Fr4gSt0R Great, I'm glad when it helped someone :)

  • Thanks man

  • @QueSchaun13 You're welcome ;) Thanx for your comment

  • You are indeed a good teacher. Thanks!

  • @amusiced Thank you :)

  • i don't have enough thumbs to stick in the air to explain the levels of awesomeness of this video. dude, the bones of Bach are rattling to this! :D

  • @jhnwallens He he ! And what about the awesomeness of your comment ? lol Thanx a lot !

  • hi! great vid' and nice technique! (and beautifull song ofc) I was trying to play it w/ alternate picking with mediator, but so much hard compared to the tapping's technique, after some time of picking technique i wasn't able to do the first lick on g string and with your technique i done it in 5 minutes lol!

but in the second part when I have to tap 1 time of 4, i have some problem to make ring the notes following the tapped one, any idea of how to do, or it's just a question of practice?

  • @lordnoface Thanx for your comment. I think you just need more practise and coordination between both hands. Is it OK now ?

  • @StephLeGratteux

yeah it's ok now, and it's almost ok in picking lol^^ thx again for the vid, and for the answer =)

  • @lordnoface You're welcome ;)

  • Awesome ;) Sure helped me !

  • @UberWaiss Thanx ;)

  • Great lesson!!!! Can you also post what equipment / settings you use to produce this sound?

  • Thanks. My Les Paul Standard is directly connected to my sound card M Audio Fast Track. I added effects with Guitar Rig 3 (I found some Van Halen/tapping presets on internet)

  • hey buddy. Great lesson. Your time and effort is highly appreciated.

  • thank you :)
