I didn't have any problems with the Guardians at all actually. played Ulyaoth too on my first playthrough

This is probably one of my favorite chapter endings out of the lot of them - it just seems to capture the whole essence of the game. Poor Max survived his brush with the Darkness, but only found himself in a worse fate.

For kill the gardian : Enchant your 2 gun with the weakness color of the gardian you're fighting . Then shoot him about 4 times and ... Boom !

@ LPwatcher: A Damage Field will repel anything. However, it's more effective against what's weak against it . . . not only that, but to disarm one you'll have to disenchant using what's strong against the field . . . you'll see later.

Yeah but after you run out of sanity the monsters start draining your health/mana instead, and that gets annoying.
