  • Great watch!!! IMHO the older Breitling models look much nicer than the nowadays models. I also like the older Windrider and Crosswind Chronomats more than the new ones. Maybe the movements in the new Breitling watches are better, but that doesn´t matter to me when the watch itself looks ugly to me.

  • how much do they go for used?

  • @TheApollon87 You can snag these for around $1500 used.

  • 720p!!!!

  • 720p!!!!

  • Another good and informative review as usual. Thanks.

  • @bladeypG Thanks!

  • What online sources do you trust to so as to not get fakes? Or do you just trust your knowledge in reviewing them prior to purchase?

I've been learing about the fakes, but wouldn't trust myself completely to spot a fake.

  • @TigerRagFishingTeam Check out the trusted online buyers list on the BreiltingSource forum.

  • @breitlingsource Very cool, thanks for the reply and the info! I've been on your site several times but must have missed that. Really appreciate it!

  • @breitlingsource Are they the banner ads on the left and bottom of the page? Otherwise I didn't see link for "trusted online buyers" on your website. Seems like the ads on the right are the ones that change based on your browsing history although they are watch related as well. Any help in navigating is greatly appreciated. Hope I'm not just missing an obvious link.

  • @TigerRagFishingTeam There are no banner ads on the left of the forum page. Please visit the FORUM, as I had mentioned above. In the Feedback section there is a trusted seller list.

  • @breitlingsource Yeah, I missed the FORUM part of your post. Found it after digging around a little yesterday. I wasn't having any luck registering on the forum though. Will try again after a fresh reboot. Thanks for the follow up!

    Appreciate your reviews as well!

  • @TigerRagFishingTeam You don't need to sign up to see the forum posts, just to make posts. If you just want to see the list just navigate to the right part. Hope you have better luck registering after your reboot tho!

  • @breitlingsource I found the information in the forum this time. On the registration thing, I was just missing the birthdate question that didnt' jump out at me for some reason. I knew I didn't have to joing but wanted to. Looks like a good place to learn some good info. Thanks for having the website and the forum!

  • @TigerRagFishingTeam Thanks for joining! We love to get new members!

  • Are you a YouTube partner? I don't think money from the views would be enough to buy those watches.

  • @Gytax0 I am a youtube partner. No, the money from the views is not enough to buy those watches.. not even enough to buy one watch. I don't recall claiming that it did.

  • @bladeypG Thanks! I just acquired a Milgauss, so an upcoming review is eminent!

  • Always love that classic Breitling case look. I think there should be more white dialed diver's out there. Just saying that due to the strap you put it on. I know the Headwind isn't per se a diver. One of my favs of course is IWC's white dialed Aquatimer. Issue with this simple Breitling piece is the hands - simply a bit too short and might benefit from being larger in width on that dial.

  • @aBlogtoRead Yep - I am a bit disappointed with the new style of Breitling's watches. I really like the ones from this era. With the 500m water resistance of the Headwind, it might as well be a diver though, right? The new white IWC Aquatimer is VERY nice. I wish they used the in-house movement in it, however.

  • i quite like the look of it on the diver strap!
