If you ask me. Pve is just as inportant as Pvp. Yeh sure you can play pve for a while but it does get boring and you just want to do some pvp...I think if Lotro made their pvp as good as their pve it would have a very very very good chance of hitting rank 1 Mmo.

i enjoy lord of tthe rings online but i also play WoW i cannot seem to quit ether of them for a few reasons.......WoW's pvp is a little bit more skill required i know alot of people disagree but if your good your will dominate that pvp rackets lord of the rings online its great addicting and the comunnity is freaking great the epic quests are what they say they are EPIC although if you dont enjoy doing ALOT of stuff on your own then you may or maynot enjoy this game

Yes, you shall meet the fellowship, Tom Bombadil, Radagast, the Witch King etc somewhere aroud lvl 18. As for traveling to Gondor or Rohan i'm sure there's a way. Try your map. LOTRO Wiki shall give you a detailed list of quest. Good luck!

i have played WoW and LOTRO and personally i prefer lotro jus cos it's more casual..it's not raiding all the time and when ur in a group u realise that you class does make a huge difference to the fellowship.

In WoW it jus felt like i had to quest all the time always go on raids.

Basically i jus prefer lotro cos it looks alot better, the combat is very simple and the people are generally nicer.

Now i jus wait for the WoW fanboys to hurl insult after insult at me! XD

You'll feel right at home with lotro. You don't even have to quest and level up if you don't want to, there are other things you can do.

You might wanna check out the music aspect of the game. You can learn instrumental skills and buy instruments and play. It has all of the notes assigned to your keyboard when you take out your instrument, You can play your own songs that everyone around you hears, or you can download a template, and your character will play a song on their own.
