Brazillians simply do not own some kind of Copyright to the word "Samba", which can inhibit others from using it to name things rather than their native music and dance.
NON-BRAZILLIANS CAN NAME ANYTHING AS "SAMBA" FOR AS LONG AS THEY SEE FIT BECAUSE NO ONE OWNS THAT WORD. PERIOD
Maybe its because I'm weird but I cant watch them dance to hiphip chinchin when I picture an iconic performance in my head... I mean dancing to this after Yulia and Max is pretty brave considering that.-no matter how AMAZING you are- you are no where near that standard.

@emilycgteles: This dance include elements of samba steps and ryhthm. Yes, it is not the simplistic Brazilians samba, it is another way to do it. You Brazilians need to quit telling everyone else how the samba should be done. Just because you claim it as your national dance, you Brazilians did not invent it, your way is not the only way, and you certainly don't own it.

@grifhinx samba is samba. i could take a fork and call it a knife but a fork will never be a knife. all those things you listed are in different categories. but 2 completely different dances or style of music cannot be classified as the same thing. i understand saying that this has roots in samba, but it has ventured so far off from samba that it cant be legitimately be called samba.
