I am 11 and play the snare drum and will soon be going into a pipe band but you don't know how long it took me to find this song on the bagpipes by itself for practising the 4/4 march!
scotja2 my wife did the same thing. we used this song instead of the normal here comes the bride song. we had st andrews pipes and drums from the tampa area play it (off of their cd :) )
bump dadada da bump dadada da easy as hell song to play on pipes and drums but to make it sound good is a challange bass drummer for 4 years piper for 8 months
I absolutely love this song! I'm getting married in 8 months and will be walking down the aisle to this. Everytime I hear it it makes me cry, it's so beautiful!!! xxx
@winwc2008 I NEVER said I played the pipes prick, I was asking a perfectly legitimate question. Don’t you have anything better to do then spam questions with your garbage?
@winwc2008 you’re a doorknob with poor class, I don’t have to learn pipes to appreciate them, and I did walk down the aisle at my wedding to this song played by this gentleman (sorry I just copied it straight from youtube) I appreciate that he can play it even if I couldn’t. So frick off and find something meaningful to do with yourself because your rude comments are neither wanted nor appreciated.
@Crimsonkiss222 I am sorry man its my dumb little brother who thinks he is an amazing piper Unfortuanatly his lap top is broken so he uses my you tube acount many appologies so if you get any other bad comments just ignore them. all the best

This is originally a German Hymn. Taken over by the Scots with pride. Yvonne

This is awesome! Did you get this music from somewhere or did you make it yourself?
