Try a snaffle. Gett him to respond from ground so he is not pulling on you. He is so over bent. It is a great start. Snaffle better than curb. He is going to be spectacular.
Nice. You can get Andalusians (sp?) with a very similar look if you like the 'wild and free mane/tail/neck' coolness going on. We has one, his name is Ingrato, but he's no where near as refined as his name/breed would suggest... he slobbers and eats broomsticks! XD Back on topic, that's nice work. All I can do is a leg yield, pirouette, turn on the forehand, half pass and back up... and not too well either ^^; *dies of embarrassment*
