  • @TheRickIRL Is this a joke? The Veyron isn't built for the street? Have you ever sat in one? It's the most prestigious, luxury supercar in the world. It literally has 1200lbs worth of absolute dead weight just in sound deadening, suede, leather and expensive brushed heavy metals. It's more of a street car than any other supercar in the world.

    Wrong, GT500 is a 5.4 4V...same cylinder heads as the Ford GT. 320 cfm straight out of the box, two cams per head.

  • In the quarter mile? This would smoke the Ferrari Enzo and Porsche Carrera GT in the quarter mile. I've read the Bugatti Veyron does a 10 Second quarter mile so a 1.8 Million Dollar car is the match for the souped up GT500.

  • 10 seconds vs 9 seconds is a huge difference. The veyron wouldn't touch this thing in a drag race.

  • @HomesliceDrummer The GT500 is quicker, the Veyron is a 10.2-10.3 second car @ 138mph+ However, the GT500 needs a prepped track to run what it has in this video. Go to where the Veyron excels, (the street) and it would very close with the Veyron having the advantage in a heads up street race from a dig. Take on the expressway and Veyron will rape it at high speeds.

    That's OKAY though, LMAO, the Veyron is a million dollar car, this is a $40,000 Mustang with a $4,000 supercharger.

    weighs 1/2 ton more,cost 1,000,000 less.

    Internals are forged, but their still stock.

    If you put more boost to these bottom ends and you melt or break [piston gaskets ect],it is most of the time a result of bad tuning.

  • rod are usually the weakest parts of muscle cars. they handle the rev limit and hp potential. for a gt500 u wont need to go full forged internals with the crankshaft cause i think it can handle most power but rods ur gonna have to upgrade along with the pistons to be safe. If u wanna rev past the rpm limit rods will help so much. if u run alota power with gt500's and end up blowing ur engine or part of it, it can total ur engine. so for the prices its worth it

  • No you're not, it already has forged rods, and no, you wont total your engine. Evolution has already hit 1019whp on a totally stock longblock- this motor has strength to spare.
