  • @thewellhung1 thats a nice fish. We normally fish 4 or 5x, but used heavier just to get the line class WR. These are lake run fish, so a 31 from Wyoming is much more impressive!

  • The 31 incher, got beat a few days later. The 34 incher is the Official World Record on 12lb test at the Freshwater Hall of Fame.

  • World record??? That can't be right.  I've landed a handful of lake run browns that are at least that size in the past couple weeks. one was 33 inches!

  • These are Fly fishing "line class" records for C&R. depending on your tippet size that 33 may have been a record. That is an awesome fish regardless!

  • Likewise, these are very nice fish regardless! I should have looked into it, I'm sure it would've been close to a record for 8lb tippet.
