A realistic, humaniarian and fair plan for both our citizens and potential citizens would be to figure out how much immigration we can support per year, and cap it at that number. It's great that you care about people not having jobs in different countries, but their are jobless Americans. America must come first, or the immigrants will have no where worthwhile to immigrate to. Thankfully, Mr. Tancredo understands that.
How Humanitarian is it for us to allow illegal aliens to come here and live in the shadows and work for substandard wages? It is not.
So perhaps you think we should have unlimited illegal immigration? That sounds nice, but you can not have unlimited immigration with unlimited social benefits, it would literally break the system.

we should take the undocumented immigrants out of the shadows by granting them residential status and we cannot let them starve or die if they are sick.
However, I do believe in somewhat securing the border so the system does not break.
I don't agree with you Tancredo. I think immigration is a humaniarian issue and we cannot just reject these immigrants. It would be incredibly morally wrong to let them starve and to not let them get jobs or get treated if they get hurt.

Sir, I have noticed many other canidate's are flip-flopping on the issue of illegal immigration. Public opinion is starting to shift towards the stance you have taken of this issue. I think that the leadership you have shown, with regards to this issue, will be a major advantage for you in 08.
