  • In my glass coffin I`m waiting...

  • I gotta agree with @bose.....Juliette ROCKED it hard!!!!

  • ╭∩╮(︶︿︶)╭∩╮ SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC!

  • @XoxoTTe Congrats, you can copy and paste.

  • @iLikeCookie88 lol waste of ur time i dont care of you little shit

  • @XoxoTTe Calm down :P

  • lol funny how people have time to waste just like this song and think but plse the whole world dont care of what you think so keep it on your mind Thnx.

  • juliette lewis shits on you!!!

  • @boselectfuk At least Polly's bright enough not to be a Scientologist.

  • @boselectfuk - Harvey composed the song, so the contribution is "slightly" bigger... Juliette sings it better though.

  • in my glass coffin, i am waiting...

  • i love this song...

  • There are a couple different versions of the lyrics at the usual (annoying) lyric sites, with both "Hey Romeo, make my world as great" and "...make my water's break" common (why the apostrophe?). Anyhow on the headphones it really sounds like "waters break"--a much better and more disturbing line. Harvey's official site, by the way, does not publish these lyrics or much at all from '4-Track Demos'.

  • this song is fucking sexy

  • I'm pretty sure Harvey's a junkie. Almost sure anyway. She would almost have top be...... judging by the lyrics and intensity. I guess I am partial to the "junkie music" thing (personal experience)...... but to me it is a COMPLIMENT; I am not trashing her.

  • @Cocopium

She's far too productive to be a junky. She's just a genius.

  • @Cocopium It's not about drugs - well not literally. It's about being starved of love and pitifully hungering for any contact at all. The line 'Romeo, take my warm embrace', is quite oddly romantic in amongst such wretched emotions.

  • @Exeunt26 What you do in life.... what you experience..... defines who you are and how you feel. Let us not forget that the road of excess leads to the palace of enlightenment.

  • @Cocopium The road of excess usually leads to death, or rehab, a memoir and chat show appearances. Two recent examples should demonstrate that clearly. Nick Cave produced far his best work when he finally kicked heroin. I think you're projecting onto PJ's work.

  • @Exeunt26 Guess again.

Where do you think Cave got his intesity? Think YOU could do it?? No offense, but I would guess not. WHY? Because experiences define who you are. Cave may have kicked, and sobriety may have given him the focus to get the album done. But the soul comes from his life, MUCH OF WHICH WAS SPENT ON HEROIN. The road of excess does indeed lead to the palace of widom, that I promise you, however I will conced it is a risky and winding way to get there.

  • @Cocopium Polly it's presumptuous to call her a junkie. Jean is an artist. passion that comes from pain can come from a multitude of things-- She has MS if you hadn't known that the disease brings on horrific physical anguish as your muscles deteriorate. the pain of such an illness must AT LEAST play some part in her craft.

  • @rckslydvarz - PJ Harvey certainly doesn't have MS - but Captain Beefheart, one of her main inspirations, did - perhaps this is what you are thinking of?

  • @rckslydvarz Yes, I am aware. I do not speak on things that I am not aware..... at least to a point. And you shouldn't think that "junkie" is an insult. IT IS NOT. Quite the opposite in fact, as I respect the kind of wisdom that comes through experience and hard times.

  • my favorite snowhite she is

  • PJ Harvey,adorável!!!

  • Both versions are enjoyable to the open minded listener and it's a testament to P.J. Harvey's songwriting abilities!

  • a long life song..!

  • The shit :P

  • lewis covered Harvey dumbass.

  • Sorry Harvey, I discovered the Lewis cover version first.

  • thanks to placebo for introducing me to this great song. they're good but this is better

  • P.J Harvey is the Queen!

J.Lewis is just a bad copy of her..she can never achieve the intensity of Harvey no matter how hard she tries

  • @ShadowOfIshtar at least J. Lewis did try. And some people find her cover pretty damn nice.

  • Love this song, please believe. But it doesn't go as hard as Lewis' version. You put Lewis' version on blast Harvey's version is really casual.

  • I've listened to this for the first time and all I gotta say is I'd never make her wait!

  • @Capricornish76 I've listened to this song for over 15 years now and never get tired of it! ;)

  • this's the best!!!!

  • aa favorita do rui e da jessica :)

  • I never really liked much of what she had done after putting down the guitar. It is just my taste though.

  • pants and rags for me

  • @budmotor : Interesting choice-

I prefer plants and rags ;-)

  • how cool is she?bad ass doesn't begin to describe her!

  • I've been looking for this song for YEARS! Finally!!!

  • one of her best songs
