In 2014 I want a 40 years anniversary Starsky & Hutch movie , and I want me to play Starsky ! This movie didn't was even close to represent Starsky & Hutch !
2 of the biggest nerds in Hollywood,,, Hollywood blew it on these muppets,, film was rubbish, did the original series no justice at at all,, typical Hollywood.
The movie is great. I'm old enough to remember the series and its funny how they made Starsky the straight arrow and Hutch the slob. In the series it's the other way round...
@sirlordwhitman And it would have looked like every other action cop buddy flick of the last 15 years and everybody just would have said "Lethal Weapon was better."
what movie is this?

Why spoof the series? They could have done something kick-ass rather than have these guys act like clueless goofballs.

Not necessarily .. because Lethal Weapon didn't have the Gran Torino.

In the tv show you see it once, it's a Maroon 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood.

It was a great film, a lot spoofed - people fail to realise this, though. I loved it - and the original series.

Tv series rules, movie was ok for what it was a comedy.

Other than the great David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser cameos, the rest of the scenes were absolutely unnecessary (including the whole movie).
