  • You ever heard Leali play?

  • Some of those clips have a nice terence blanchard feel

  • seems like jazzvideoguy is focusing a lot on the one o'clock lab band (and pushing for grammy recognition) recently... it's great! fun to see/hear and informative-- about the competition and venerable tradition at UNT, etc.-- as well! Thank you! Please keep it coming (if there's more)!!

  • I'm a junior in high school, and this school is at the top of my lists for colleges! What an incredible band. That lead tenor player is really cookin'! I think I've listened to their recording of Yesterdays one hundred times now.

  • I love this series of video's. Thank you!

  • Trumpet player rockin the Don Ellis Lincoln beard...

  • Very nice.

  • Nice video. Someone needs to contact C.J. "Woody" Wood, who played in the late 40s band and has an old, original acetate recording of the Band. I heard it 25 years ago. Blown away because it had a harpsichord playing along in a jazz band! Anyone remember Gene Hall? I was fortunate to join him in several informal jam sessions. What a gentleman. Thanks for sharing ths!

  • @DavesTrumpet Gene Hall started the Jazz degree program at UNT.
