i wanted to say i have a new class the mage, and he is at lvl 43 and i seem to be really suckish with him, i dont know if it is just me or the class itself has just gone downhill.... can someone tell me (for cata) if the mage is really good at lvl 85?

only reason i watch this cause last night i was battling a ret pally lvl 69 and my priest was lvl 64 and we were battling for lik 10min in warsong gulch with no mana at all but in the end he killed me

One way to kill a priest in 2s you keep attacking the priest just let the other guy attack you/ heals evenutally the priest runs out of mana = win (takes like 5-10 min depends on gear)

Penance wastes less mana and heals more than if he where to cast flash heal. so penance>flash heal.

I think this would help you, so you dont have to target yourself or lose your target to penance yourself ^_^

/cast [target=player] Penance

That will hold your current target, but penance yourself ^^

it's called PyreHealer, extremely simple addon to use :)

it's basically squares u can place anywhere on the screen (urself, target, focus, party & raid. u choose what u wanna show). u set what spell u wanna cast on the player when u e.g right/left click his/her square and so on. the square also shows some hots, magics, diseases and mc

You should set your heals for auto cast.  You wont have to target yourself to be healed. Just click greater or flash heal even when targeting your opponent and you can still heal yourself.

I have auto cast but I cant target the opponent when I cast Penance if I wanna heal myself cus that spell will harm the enemy instead then. I used to target myself straight away when not attacking in case I had to cast Penance and not only other heals, the pala caused pretty fast dmg. Different now though cus I have an addon where I can click to e.g heal myself with Penance without distarget the opponent/allied.

U should make a macro so penance can cast on u while u have an enemy targeted, its helpful, i also have one like that for Dispell magic, then u dont have to keep retargeting

oom pala=pretty easy to beat ^^ the pala i duelled in this vid hits pretty hard so i had to heal almost all the time when he was close to me. had to fear to mana burn
