difference between gibson / epiphone?

Well outside of the actual material and components and the price tag... epiphones will look and sound great to the untrained ear... secondly, it's what the guitar is playing through that really matters. AND damn near anything sounds good through a decent amp.

Thirdly, Full Blown gibby = Studio - Epiphone = gig time... but whatever.

I have an epi Les Paul 100 when I took it out of the box the bottom 2 knobs ( the volume and tone for the bridge pickup) were bent in toward the body. Are they meant to be that way?

unless it's the entry level ones, you should have too many tuning issues but if you do, either change tuners or file the nut, their things you can do to change it

Locking tuners are expensive but i wouldn't play an epi without them

pretty awesome sounding, only tiny problem i've had with stock pickups is that they sound kinda muddy, overall..epiphones are great guitars!

Hey man I have the DSL 50 and I was wondering how you like the ZW-44, and how hard does it push the amp?

I like the ZW-44 a TON! It gives the amp more gain and sustain when I need it and doesn't really change the tone much at all. Just more sustain. Also, one 9-volt battery lasts about a year!

Dave,  I am in the market for an OD pedal to go with my Mesa DR. Did you try others before you got the MXR? I am thinking Fulltone OCD, or maybe the ZW44. Do you have to make Zakk faces for it to work?

The Zakk Wylde OD does a great job. But I'm also wanting to pick up a Fulltone OCD! And a Digitech Bad Monkey. And an Ibanez TS-808. I'd like to have a variety of OD pedals. You don't need to make Zakk faces to rock the ZW44, but I bet if you had the DOD YJM 308 Yngwie Malmsteen OD you could bring the fookin' fury!!!

Nice, I am looking for a trans Black Epiphone in U.K but so far only seen them near the £500 mark (Except 1 on Ebay)and you can get a Genuine Gibson BFG for that. Nice video, Nice playing and a realy good demo of how it sounds, it has a lot of sweet spots, and so does your playing, thanks.
