once in my soulsilver i started a new game & had to go to mr. pokemon's house to get an egg & i saw a shiny caterpie & i was like "OMG SHINY CATERPIE!" so i went to my bag to get a pokeball & then i relized that u couldn't get pokeballs yet till u got ur pokedex so i was like "GOD DAMN IT" & i nevert saw it again. I DIDN 'T CHEAT EITHER!

bet it was a 1 in 8,192 shiny! also when she demonstrates using a poke ball that patrat has a 1 in 8,192 shiny chance too! i once saw a video on it!

@Matthewroxtheparty well thats pretty much your typical wild Pokemon. This is a something programmed into the game you would think it wouldn't take the 1/8192 chance into effect. You can't find a shiny Reshiram, Zekrom, or Victini without cheating, but Professor Juniper can have a pink Minccino
