what drums and pedal do you personally use, just when playing, not reviewing?

I use my Pintech kit a lot. It is down right now because I have to replace the heads on it. I also use my Ion. I think soon it will just be my Ion as it is the smaller kit and my wife hates the room my Pintech takes up with the rack I have.

Yeah but I took the question to mean something that was original and innovative. The Ion although good is not original or innovative as it is just a electronic kit called the Simmons SD-5 that they just made a brain for to make it work with RB. Not hard with the engineers they have that do this all the time. That is why I said the Good Wood's.

Plastic or Regal tip sticks (which is the proper name if you go to a music store) is fine. I use them all the time.

Have not heard as of yet. However we can only hope! After using guitars like the Starpex, it is hard to go back to the plastic ones. There is one come to think of it but it will set you back $400.00. It is by Peavey and the will make it custom like if you want kiss on it or something like that. But $400.00?

Yes I do! I think some of these companies are just trying to cash in now. With the drum set the RB1 one was so bad that people were ready to spend $300.00 for a kit especially one you can use as a real drum kit. However the guitars were not that bad. This is why I have not reviewed the Peavey as I am not going to spend $400.00 pm a guitar. If they want to send me a unit to keep or send back I will be more than happy to review it. I love Rockk Band but not that much! :)

i bought the ion because i knew i could get a module to make it a real electronic drum kit. if i was going to pay that much for a guitar controller, some way, some how, it would have to double as a real guitar. just my opinion.
