@countryprincessish @Daviniel Because thats the type of roles he likes, most people remember the death of Boromir more than the whole fellowship, most people want to see revenge for the death of the head of the Stark by treason in Game of Thrones and in equilibrium his death was the reason of the whole plot of the movie for the main character to start changing so I think he is wise picking those roles.

I have to recognize that when i saw this trailer i thought this movie would be pretty mediocre; but i assure you that this film is great. Its a thousand times better than "Season of the witch", because it is not a fantasy movie about witchs and demons and all that crap, it has a serious storyline that show you how wrong is to judge other people as good or evil based on your religious beliefs, and how many people died for not agree with the christian point of view. Thumbs up!!

I just watched this and boy, what a wonderful film this is!!! Shows you just how utterly sick and fucked up christians were back then... and STILL are! I recommend this to school children everywhere. And if European christians didn't live in such disgusting and filthy condidtions back then, there never would have been a "black death" to begin with!

I think the trailer is misleading, This movie has no magic, witches or demons, its more realistic and its not so much an action movie. The theme seemed to be about how if you abuse people they can become abusers themselves. There were no good guys in this movie, it was very bleak.

"Medieval Apocalypse Now" is a good description, Apocalypse Now is a ton better of course but I still thought this was surprisingly good. Above average.

Also Season of the Witch was a supernatural action movie, This wasn't at all. The trailer is trying to trick people into thinking it is so it'll attract a larger audience. I expect a lot of people will be very disappointed when they find the movie is absent of CGI witches and magical sword fighting.
