I worked in a pharmacy for a very long time, so I am quite jaded on the topic of doctors' opinions. I got written up tons of times because I refused to recommend the flu shot to people. Doctors are not always right, especially celebrity ones..

Regardless the use must be chronic and heavy for any adverse effects to become apparent. The real danger the way we let the black market do the quality control, instead of doing it ourselves by making "drugs" a legitimate product. Instead of spending billions on a never ending drug war, we should spend it on discouraging drug use and providing healthcare.
@GanjaEclectus 1.2 mg of LSD is a HUGE dose, translating to about 12 tabs; assuming zero tolerance I doubt anyone would find that "awesome". Also what makes you think you know what dose you ingested, unless you happen to know the manufacturer, there's no way to determine it without running some complicated and expensive tests. MDMA may damage serotongenic neurons through oxidative stress, but permanant brain damage is neither proven nor disproved. Most of the evidence shows occasional MDMA use doesn't cause any permanent changes as it looks like most of the damage repairs overtime.

I've wanted to try ecstasy for awhile now but never have, until a few days ago when my friend gave me a "green nike" pill. But heres the thing, I take Venlafaxine (effexor) which is a (SNRI anti-depressant) and Im a liitle worried the two together would have a negative reaction and might kill me or something lol I was just wondering if thats anything to worry about? a friend yesterday said if your not sure about it dont take it and that you can die from 1 pill your 1st time is this true?

Which means when you take it, your body literally breaks it down into meth amphetamine which is why you get high. And the long term effects on the brain between smoking and ingesting meth probably aren't too much different.

Regardless the use must be chronic and heavy for any adverse effects to become apparent. The real danger the way we let the black market do the quality control, instead of doing it ourselves by making "drugs" a legitimate product. Instead of spending billions on a never ending drug war, we should spend it on discouraging drug use and providing healthcare.

MDMA may damage serotongenic neurons through oxidative stress, but permanant brain damage is neither proven nor disproved. Most of the evidence shows occasional MDMA use doesn't cause any permanent changes as it looks like most of the damage repairs overtime.

Which means when you take it, your body literally breaks it down into meth amphetamine which is why you get high. Yeah , my pupils were fucking huge when i went to my first rave .and i was "supposedly taking mdma" but i found out on Monday , that it was meth . damn ..ahha , oh and the night i went to the rave was February 26 (my birthday) ahahhaa :D

@RLhockey203 day is better than ever before, whe have so called testing facilities where everybody can come and have there xtc(or any other drug, exept herion etc) tested to find out if it isnt bad shit, witrhout any cange of being arrested. the out comes of these tests are put in a compter, and these tests have proofen that in holland the xtc nowadays contains almost soly mdma and binding material, and sometimes some pep, nothing more or less
