Full ID obtained on Ruby#1!

I Have 379 Action Replay Glitched My Name And Changed My ID Number On My Leaf Green.

My Recently Re-Started Fire Red Got Me 48888 & A Shiny Weedle! Lucky Me I Can't Clone It On Emerald Until I Beat The Game, Unless Pokemon Box Is Allowed To Steal It. I'll Know In A Few Days.

Nice. I have '11111' as my ID in my current Japanese Heart Gold file. It hasn't brought me any shinies yet though (I've been SR'ing on and off for a shiny Sudowoodo in it since the 8th July 2010...)

I once found the ID '00001' in a Sapphire file.

@shinycollector7 I would think 00006 would be more of an event id number. Like hayley's is 01000. I would assume that it has to be higher than at least 02000 for it to be a legitly earned id.

That's a pretty epic ID number. It's a shame you can't get 66666 because that's a bit over the highest possible ID.

In fact, 00000 it's impossible to obtained and the 66 666 don't exist : the last ID is 65 536 (8192*8), hexadecimal value .. So you have : 11111,22222,33333,44444,55555. So, there are 5 possibility :P

Yeah, the odds of getting one particular full ID are 1/100k, which is the same as 10^5. But there are 6 or 7 (not sure if the ID 66666 exists) possible full IDs so that number is lower, but still higher than a shiny.

Anyways, it's confirmed IDs do NOT give quicker hunts. In R/S/FR/LG you always start from a random seed, which means it's all completely random. You never know on which seed/frame you start, and ID numbers do not let you start on seeds with early shiny frames.

It still looks really awesome though =)

Not to mention, the doesn't the hidden ID determine the upper 16 bits of the PID of the shiny, and something else determines the other 16 bits?

Not to mention, there are tons of "lucky" games out there that don't seem to follow this golden rule of having repeating numbers. Chiakiro and S_D's FR and LG respectively have relatively plain IDs. IIRC, S_D got 12 shinies on her LG, where the ID is 05881!

For some reason I thought you got a shiny cause I didn't read the title. But cool ID though I don't think they are lucky but since we don't exactly know, good luck on your hunting.
