WOOOW!! That bridge is soooooo high!! When they first built that bridge they were originaly going to make it a suspension bridge like the Mid-Hudson or the Whitestone with a Warren stiffening truss system but then they decided to make it an undertruss.
The guy is tallgating you because you are probably going too slow. If the speed limit is 55 and you doing like 40 of course people are going to tallgate you.
30 MPH are you kidding me?! Big wide birdge like that? I don't know why they would post such a low speed limit on a bridge with really wide lanes and a big sholder. Sometimes I think they post speed limits low on wide roads or bridges so that cops could have a good reason to give speeding tickets easier.
The speed limit on the Bronx Whitestone bridge is 45 and that brideg has twice the amount of traffic and the lanes aren't even as wide.
no the speed limit on the bridge is 40.... I travel it nearly every day
