imagine most of their enemies don't have this kind of armoured vehicles just only a guns,combat style,rpg's or bazooka's,manpower and tactics while US has armies and marines with tanks,helicopters and jet plane and still war in middle east is still there but i like this kind of vehicles!

My pastors son is in stryker brigade he is driver in afghanistan and he said it gets to be 125 degrees riding in it because hes next to the engine it already 120 degrees outside the vehicle

this is a shittier version of the Canadian lav3 and the 40mm grenade launcher is not on most of them as far as i know its only on a couple of them most of them just have a 50 cal unlike the lav 3 which most models have the 25mm bushmaster chain gun and 2 lmg's of the gunner's choice

Does anyone know the width of the stryker? I wonder if it was purposly made over 8 feet wide, so that it can never have regular tags for US roads. I'm just trrying to think 15 years down the road. It would be a great project, rebuilding 1 of these.

@TankNutDave Thanks I see that You know facts :-) I only regret that we don't have RCWS 30 on our Polish Wolverines only OtoMelara hitfist Turrets 30. If woe would change those turrets on RCWS30 then our vehicle could fit even 10 solders +3crew and still can fight and to this RCWS30 we could add 2 Polish GROM anty-plane missiles. Georgians in 2008 in Georgian-Russian war shout down thanks to those missiles 8-12 Russian planes. So this MIX of weapon and this vehicles would be the best war machine

@GregorMar Well i luv the modular design of the AMV so it can keep pace with future armour upgrades, so its a forward thinking vehicle, which sadly the Stryker lacks, which was demonstrated on the Stryker when they added the Bar Armour and the negative effect on the suspension, which they are now replacing. I also luv the AMOS mortor turret :p

Ahh yes the Amos! :-) Yes but this is Swedish construction and You may put it on each vehicle also on Wolverine, but it is rather support not battle turret, bcoz it is double mortar not 120mm gun but there is also turret with 120mm gun look here

Russian fully amphibious APC. it holds 9 people has a 30mm 2A42 autocannon, a 40mm grenade launcher, at-5 missile and a pk machine gun. It has a road range of about 800km and goes about 60 mph

And btw BTR-90 holds 3 crew and 7 solders, AMV Patria or Polish version Rosomak: 3 crew and 8 solders. And if there will be RCWS-30 then it can take 3 crew and 10-12 solders. Read yet about week protection of BTR it can hold only machin gun fire. Rosomak can hold 30mm rounds in front and 14,5 mm from sides. With add protection even more. So Rosomak is the best

the BTR holds 9 people, it can't have as much armor because its amphibious. It can easily take out the AMV with its AT-5 which has a range of 4000 meters. The AMV doesn't appear to have any variants that can engage tanks and carry infantry at the same time The BTRs armor is classified so i'm not sure where your getting these facts about it. the BTR is about same speed and has a about same range.a little more than some variants range and is amphibiousr

ROSOMAK has ANTI TANK Spikes (which are one of the best ANTI-TANK rockets) so it can take all vehicles and even TANKS! You know nothing and you writing, read about BTR armor it is LIKE PAPER MAN! It can hold only 14,5 mm round only on the front! From sides only 7,62 mm!!! All is written!!! Really man I see you like fairy tales not realism.

@ckkabramz Hmmm... then I will tell you something... I think it will be not the best… but for sure it will be very expensive. Probably it will cost 2 or 3 billion dollars as everything what is made for USarmy. Look here on Polish Anders 120 mm made by Polish industry. To work out this cost 20 million zloty which is about 5,5 million dollars and this vehicle is base also for heavy Infantry fighting vehicle and it lasted only 1,5 year. It is better even than German PUMA.
