playing in the exact key is critical only if you can sing in that key..........it's all right to play a song in any key you want.......just noting the original key is good only if you want to play against the original recording and FYI , no one key is proper...........very nice version !......

Very UNIQUE, guy. I'm sure a folk/country version of this song was the farthest thing from Knoffler's mind. But it definitely works. Thanks for working on this video and sharing it. Your instructions were effective and to the point.
Thanks for the comment. It's a G harmonica... the riff starts on a G... out on hole 8 I believe... then down to an F#, which is in on hole 7 if I'm not mistaken... (I don't have a harmonica while I'm typing this). I guess I'll post a harmonica lesson video for this one soon. Try to figure it out in the meantime by ear.

Groundhog you give excellent lessons. I've been playing 40 years myself. Your Heart of Gold lesson was also on the mark. Keep em coming buds.
You got a lot of talent too. Have you written any material?

Im thinking about buying a Songwriter deluxe cutaway. Just wondering what your opinion of the gibson acoustics are? Nice job on the song by the way.
