I know way too much about Franklin Jones unfortunately, first, second, and third hand. And his ridiculous modus operandi is all too apparent in this sickening video.
Yeah he was so happy - he was on anti-depressants for the last decade of his life, often beat and berated his disciples, abused alcohol, and had a nervous breakdown every 1/2 decade or so. Oh yeah, he really had it all together. But hey, somebody gave him an island, and he wrote a lot of books. So I'm sure that made up for it.

The so-called "followers" are actually called devotees, they are not mere followers, rather they are devoted to Love and Reality which Adi Da Himself IS. If you Love or recognize Adi Da in any sense whatsoever then be prepared to Love his devotees, for they are one and the same.
This is a wonderful talk. But, as always, the heart message is not expressly in the humor and the erudition, nor even in the intelectual scope of the argument. If you are not getting it, it is because YOU are not getting it There is no use blaming Adi Da for that.
