I find it best to add the tobacco and then sprinkle on a layer of crumbled bud, That way there will be no bud at the end near the roach and as the smoke by the roach is hot and tastes bad it will save you weed and money.

In terms of ease of rolling, I don't really think it makes much of a difference what papers you use.
From a taste point of view, in most cases the wider/thicker the paper, the more you can taste it, particularly if you use a wide paper for a small joint as there is a lot of excess paper. Think of it as a paper to content ratio.
Thickness (and to some extent width) also affect how/the speed it burns... but this is also affected by how fast the content burns... which is affected by water content.
I find the width of regular king size rizla slim's perfect, and easy enough to roll. I tend to find winder papers like zig zags unnecessarily wide.
Occasionally I've used Smoking Deluxe, which are the same length as Rizla slims, but even narrower (the same wiidth as small cigarette papers) and they are only slightly harder to roll with.
It burns better and more evenly and means you dont have to waste/put so much in a joint..Its total preference though..you dont need to do it..I do it because i prefer it and think its a better smoke.

If it was a thin straight joint with a small roach it would probably get clogged up with tar and oils, and if it was a thick straight joint with large roach it would burn your throat.

theres two ways of doing this
you can grow out thumb nails a little bit, and stuff the paper behind your weed.
or you can press it. if you press it, you can roll more into it. bassically just copact it with the paper while your rolling it to make it closer.

IT depends if ur using a blunt u dont have 2 as the blunt is made of bakky n will burn down bt i prefer always putting abit in, it burns down easier n bing a smoker i like nicotine :-)

nice technique, but the filter is a little too small for my liking. its harder to hit a small roach like that with the way you coned it out. its great to finally see someone else who knows how to bur off the top like that too. And tobacco is abolutely necessary for joints, unless you like wasting your weed. And i live in the US

Finally someone who rolls the same way as me. I thought i was a freak until now, thanks mate. And while i'm here and on the subject for all those "How, why, who" etc We Brits put the tobacco in aswell partly because we like the taste (weird? yeh i know), partly cos we want the nicotine, but mainly cos it's so fucking expensive here that unless you grow your own you have to stretch it out! yea your right, i mean where i am it costs like 10 pounds just to get a very small bag of it, so we end up having to get some tobacco to go with it, we usually get a pouch before hand though rather than buy a pack of cigarettes.

so fucking what if it burns better! you want your bud to burn smooth then grow your own, like myself, and cure it right! the only reason bud you buy can't ever stay lit is 'cause those people bake dry. just through it in a bag and put somewhere dark for a week(check every day) and it will burn perfect

Whatever people like, they should do. I'm pretty sure it's common only in the UK because I've never seen it done here and yet nearly every Brit I seen prefers mixing tobacco with it. Cultural differences.

if you dont put tobacco in it doesn't burn half aswel, try smokin a pure its alot harsher and burns faster.

yeah, most people smoke with tobacco cos it burns better. Also it's partly a cost things too. I'll admit though, smoking pure does taste a lot nicer if you can put up with the harshness

Great vid man, just a tip those: when using windows movie maker (i presume), try and stretch out the titles appearing on the bottom of screen, sometimes theyre too fast :P. But yea u a good teacher ;) cheers
