  • nice can we have a tutorial

  • can you make a totorial and send me the vid if you can? i thumbs up and subscribed!

  • Its good to see ppl experimenting! nice vid bro

  • love how it started slow when it took off like a real space shuttle LOL

  • Powdered sugar, huh? Doesn't it work best with pure sugar?

  • tape 1 to a skate board and use it as a engine.

  • imagine if u had 10.000 of those all luanched at same time

  • Oh,God.Don`t make it become a bomb!

  • how to make

  • Hey, there's NO cussing on You Tube!

  • @ed2135az suck my dick asshole

  • congratulation u hav made smake grenade

  • pull up your pants jackass

  • of all the things i wasnt expecting........the minivan was NOT on the list

  • you should add a salute to these so when they go up they give a nice BANG

  • Use pvc, will hold up

  • what size of dowel rod did u use? and did u use 20 or 12 ga shells?

  • @Kedolomer The size isn't anything special so long it fits pretty snugly into the shell; for this I think it was a 5/8's inch dowel. I used 12 gauge shells but you can use any size. IMO the bigger the better which in this case would be 12 gauge shells.

  • fuck that estes the shit

  • @MrTommyboy1996 this stuff is cheeper and it gives you a sort of proudness towards yourself.

  • makes one hell of a smoke bomb

  • how come the second one worked and the first one didnt?

    please reply

  • @WebShareMusic I think that was the one I tried making with a black powder based propellent instead of the sugar and I didn't quite have the finalizing the casing down (wrapping them in tape), so the propellent ended up melting through the shell and going KATO shortly after it was lit.

  • @fortnightproductions I lied the one that KATOed was a different one. The first one that never got off the ground had a mix of baking soda to slow down the burn however it had too much so it was essentially a giant smoke bomb. From my experience I found baking soda is pretty much unnecessary but some guys will tell you it helps the propellent burn smoother. Experiment and decide for yourself.

  • @WebShareMusic backing soda

  • thanks for the help and when you get home DO MORE VIDEO'S LOL LOL. what are you doing in collage

  • ok thanks, can you do the step by step .cool

  • @27simber I just updated the description. If you have some experience with homemade engines it should be easy to follow. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

  • hi, when are you going to make the vid on makeing the engines.

  • @27simber I've gone off to college so I don't have my supplies handy to make a video. I may or may not post a video in a month or so (depending on whether I come home or not). If you don't want to wait for that, I'll post step by step instructions that you should be able to follow without visual aide for now.

  • try 60 percent kno3 and 30 percent sugar... I'm pretty sure thats a better combination.

  • Your rockets really suck man, sorry. And the guy with the camera sounds like a fkn retard. Best of luck though.

  • Lol this will make estes go bankrupt nice rocket if you put on the launch lug and buy a proper launch pad that would have went great i loved how it was made of paper i did a paper one with an estes c6 engine and it was set off in street straight into my dads car window wasnt pretty

  • cool man! i have a vid up on making laffy taffy rocket fuel. i only did a burn test, cause i didn't realize i have the stuff to make a rocket motor. shotgun shell casings! brilliant! 5 stars!

  • AWESOME

  • more like 10 minute hot glue and paper rocket fail. i wasn't out there to test a crappy rocket i was testing the engines which without a doubt worked. the point of having a friend film instead of using a tripod was to be able to follow the rocket faster. of course handing the camera over to someone who could give two fucks about where they were pointing it was a crappy plan too.

  • sounded like a plane lol

  • I look forward to listening from you how you made your rocket engines. I have made them from the old paper used shot gun tubes which no longer exist, with black powder. Like you I did not waste my time building a model rocket but just put a stick in to see how the motor worked. I think a cardboard liner inside your cartridge will work as aerotech reloadables use that and although ablated they do not burn through.

  • It's good to hear from somebody interested! I wasn't very motivated to get started on that tutorial since people weren't giving too much feedback. I'll get on it asap.

  • where do you get all the crap for it

  • Great to hear from you...you seem like a nice interesting person..I look forward to your next video. E mail me here is you want to let me know how you got on..:)

    Nik

  • my name is Nick Hunsager. we are about to light a FUCKING homeade sugar rocket.

  • the kid in the jacket is so hott!

  • hoe. put your skate video up. i wanna make fun of you in the comments.
