i found it for evry1 who cant hold the ball and at the same time use the mouse weel here is your answer!!!! you take the ball you do you mouse of of the screen still hold the ball (keep holding it the whole time) then go to the blue at the bodem and right clic 1s if there comes a window .. its wrong your mouse just needs to appear then go back to the bowling thing and then you cane use your mouse wheel hope it works for you guys :D

If your screen is narrow (like how I moved it at the beginning) then the cursor will scroll up beyond the range of the embedded flash and naturally let go by itself even though you still have it pressed down.

i get the principle completely, but can't make it work. I click on the ball, but as soon as i release the mouse button to scroll up the ball reverts back to it original start position. How do i lock the mouse on the ball in order to use the scroll up. (I did manage it once but it was a complete fluke and I have no idea how i managed to lock the mouse on the ball)

Try keeping your finger on the scrolly, instead of letting go, perhaps?

A few have reported that the scrolly trick won't work for MSIE but it will for Firefox. MSIE people have reported that using the PageUp key does work, though, instead of scrolling the mouse button..

Framerate and lag are completely different things. The jumpiness is the recording software's framerate, which I couldn't change -- being a small, freebie program.

You've just got to practice getting the ball position right, if you've got the straight roll trick right. That's up to you to figure out ^_^

You must be doing something wrong, then. I did it just today when I was looking to find the sound of a bowling ball hitting pins and recorded it from the games by getting a strike with this same method. Plus, the video itself is proof it works ^_^

Make your window smaller as shown, so that when you scroll the wheel up quickly, the page itself scrolls. If the screen is small enough, the mouse will scroll past (upward) past the area that the flash program is embedded, releasing the ball.

You may also try just holding the ball higher up on the page before you try scrolling the wheel, so that when it eventually gets high enough it will release by itself.
