@brewill95 Please explain what "tricks" you're talking about and if you could pull of any of them, assuming you know anything at all about dance. They're 10 and nailing quadruple pirouettes and double turns holding their legs which takes a lot of skill and technique to perfect and obviously they have great technique if you hadn't noticed especially for ones so young.
The *only* problem I have with this is the lack of ultilization of space. I definitely think they could have moved around the stage a little more. But these girls are so freaking talented I can't even stand it. They have astounding technique, it's very age-appropriate, and they stay almost entirely in sync together. I actually really like the choreography. They're competition dancers, all of those elements are put in to make them a strong team. Do you have any more dances from here YDC?

@makeupmarinaxo well FYI this IS dance maybe this is technique we have probably been learning cooler stuff then you were and they DO teach us to feel the music and try do it they teach us to make it emotional even if its a really sad dance they sometimes encorage us to make them feel that way to and make them cry a tear or .. tears so just BACK OF CUZ THESE GIRLS ARE AMAZING OC IN DA HOUSE

This dance is a little refreshing to me most dances are all style now and no technique!! I dont think its tricks its technique! correct technique! This dance still hasnt style in it and they can still work it!
just to clarify... the words technique and tricks are being used interchangeably in this discussion and they are not synonymous. When performing any dance step ("tricks" included) there is an element of technique that must be present. Correct alignment, placement, and so forth. Everything from lifting the foot from the floor, to standing up with a neutral pelvis, knees over toes, shoulders depressed. These girls are very gifted, and I am not saying anything about that. Just want to educate

feet need to be pointed and moves finished all the way. my dance teacher always taught us if the dancers cant do the move properly then dont make them do it. makes the dancers work harder. not talking about this dance specifically just in general now about how studios try and get younger and younger kids to do 500000 turns when they cant do em properly
@AvaaBabyy19 how do you determine that? They had musicality, sure they had flexibility tricks for about 50% of the dance but the rest of it was very stylized. Sure they didn't utilize the stage space but they used the magic to their full advantage and they danced tastefully in a way that is usually reserved for older dancers. They didn't just get up there and shake and pop their bodies distastefully like far too many younger routines do. I commend them and their choreographer for a great piece.
