  • Max Payne 2 gun sounds! :D

  • /watch?v=CURTO0WNRwY

  • nice job. the only reason it isnt realistic is because there is no smoke

  • too much recoil......

  • i need to know how to edit a muzzle flash in.

  • hey, could u so a tutorail on the 'lighting tweaking' thing, coz it looks awesome, and i need help.

  • cool check mine!

    /watch?v=D-KqK3VPMic

  • how do you add sound? i use Adobe AE and i imported the sound but it doesnt play when i make it into a movie

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx

Afraid I'm not very familiar with AfterEffects. All the work I do is done in Adobe Premiere. The few times I did use AE, I made the clip and exported it back into Premiere and did all the sound work there. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx

I am pretty familiar with Adobe AE. To answer your question. You have to RAM preview in order to hear your audio. Simply playing will not work. If I didn't answer your question fully or if you need more help send me a message.

  • @ChimStudios

Do you need to RAM preview to render you're audio with video? I'm still learning After Effects and everything I've rendered so far has no audio... Could you help me out with this problem?

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx what I do is that once I finish the visual effects in after effects I export it to a program where I place all my clip together to make the movie/video and there you can add the sound effects, I do this with Sony Vegas, but you can also do it with Final Cut Express, Adobe Premiere like philldwill said, and even with windows movie maker, just remember after effects its for visual effects only. Hope it helped

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx After Effects is an Effect software. Not editing. Premiere is used for editing, and After Effects is for 30 seconds of effects editing. If you want to add sound use an editing software.

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx you can use imovie or you can use windows movie to add sounds that what i do

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx Adobe AE is not a video editing program

Adobe AE is for effects only.

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx I had this problem to but somewhere when your busy converting you need to click on some box for sound but I don't really know were. My tip: watch youtube convert tutorials on youtube.

    (sorry for my bad english)

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx tell m how u made it, did u choose export or pressed make movie or did you hit add to render que? export shouldnt have any trouble make movie, there is a setting you have to change b4 you hit render, change the output module, and a dialog box will come up then thre is a checkbox down below for audio output check that than hit ok and render! same goes for add to render que...

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx

AE cannot edit sound! It is only meant for effects.

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx i know this is 9 month old but when you add your movie or vid to render queue then go to render settings there you should fine video audio and crop tich audio and also video

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx

Adobe After Effects doesn't play sound unless you do a ram pre render and then play it. You probably found this out all ready though considering you asked about it 10 months ago

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx if you're still having problems with that, when you render it, click on 'output to:' it will probably say lossless. switch it to RAM preview and then you'll keep your sound.

  • @FouRLetteRWoRdx you need to do ram preview

  • you're so hot

  • o wait nvm they just used ur raw footage

  • Comment removed

  • All you need is a better camera and you would be awesome! :D

  • @AnimationsInColors

I blame my bad compression. The Camera I have is a Canon XL-2, so it's plenty good. So any flaw is user error on my part I'm afraid :(

  • @philldwill Then your just awesome :D

  • Where I can to get muzle flash like you

  • @SuperThebullet I draw my Muzzle Flashes in Photoshop. If you are using Adobe Premiere for Editing, I'd recommend Photoshop since they are very compatable with each other. It takes some getting used to but it's wonderful.

  • now thats actually good

  • that was great 5/5 stars heaps good

  • is that a real gun without bullets or just a toy or bbb aisoft or dometing

  • very very nice!

  • Sweet editing!

  • what editing softwear do you use?

  • I use Adobe Premiere Pro. I love it.

  • NIce!

  • dude you are a master

  • Perfect!

  • Thanks man, this really does help. cutting out a few frames makes it look really nice.

  • ho did you actually make the muzzle flash?

  • Aha, it looked like you were shooting a real gun-

    Cool vid

  • Please make a TUTORIAL HOW TO DO THIS

  • that's fkn med

  • haha "oh and sound effects"

  • really cool :)

  • I use final cut express and I was wondering how exactly you tweak the color. You make the video look amazing. I use good lighting, but can never get that "film" look that you do. Do you mess with the saturation and white balance and stuff. What characteristics do you change in the color?

  • a more in depth video wud be better

  • I agree

  • hey man great effect but what settings did you use for your color correction film look because i cant figure out how to do it in premiere

  • very good. seriously some effects are so bad out there.

  • Looks awesome!

  • that looks amazing lol

  • i love how the lighting from the flash goes out of the picture

  • Ha!! I never noticed that. Good call.

  • for muzzle shots, i recommend Detonationfilms(dot)com

and just google gun sound effects

  • weres a good place were i can get sound effetcs and muzzle shots

  • Very Nice

  • where did you get ur sfx..are they free...

  • lol i love the end...oh aaaand sound effects.

  • wouldn't it be easier to use blanks?

  • in some countries, even bb guns r banned....

  • Easier? Depends on exactly how you are using them. Blanks are the BEST looking by far, yes, but they cost a lot more money, are much less safe, and are far more cumbersome to use.

But overall, very good job here. The frame deletion tip is a particularly good one, as it also makes it look less like you're flicking your wrist back by yourself.

  • SICK!

  • Nice work. Especially the bit about removing frames. Never would've thought of it, xD! I feel stupid now =(

  • are u freakin kidding me!?!?!

in like 10 mins, ive seen like 10 vids with that same air soft gun.

    and the funny thing is,

I HAVE THE SAME F***ING GUN!!!!!

its one of the most realistic fake guns, a replica of the Walther P99 lol

  • WOW!! thats great u could like saw or something like that very real great!

  • These look great.

  • On what level do you put your contrast on scale of 1 to 100?

  • Hmm, I actual use "Levels" which can control contrast. I'm guessing it's somewhere around 15-20% increase.

  • I taught myself, since I made this video many other "how to" videos have come out but they all do it their own way.

  • That is something you can do, I didn't do it in this video cause I didn't really care. But this is just the start, there are many things one could do to better it, such as adding casings.

  • fuck. that was awesome!

  • I've tried to do digital casings but I couldn't pull it off. I've see digital casing on movies and other videos and I find them distracting. I've never seen them done well although I wish I could pull them off. Thanks for the comment.

  • Whitch camcorder do you use?

  • I actually have a really nice camera. It's a Canon XL-2

  • what programs are you guys using?

  • I use Adobe Photoshop and adobe premiere.

  • It's from the game MAX PAYNE 2

  • HEY! i totally owned that air soft gun you had and everything! with the extra long clip. i broke it though :(

  • Thanks for the tips! Ill make another one once I shoot some good footage and not just a tester - Then ill tweak it properly :D

  • cool tip

  • wow. this is very well taught. maybe not technically, but the point was to give tips on the muzzle flash. 5/5. ^-^

  • A very good short and nice video tut =)

  • For people that are looking for digital muzzle flash stock , visit xslimits . uk . tt

  • thanks for that little how to. but why is this on two accounts?

  • Thanks, but WHAT?? It's on a different account?

  • ya, here it is, its called 097042373789708789237849327489237843240239483284723847283743. It s also in my subscriptions

  • lol i thought u were kidding...who names there video with all numbers?

  • nice, have a look at mine

  • wow you're good! Can you make a real tutorial?

  • by the sound of that the saound came from the beretta from maxpayne 2

  • I don't remember what gun it came from but it is from MP 2. I love that game.

  • IT COME FROM THE BERETTA

  • where do you usually get the sound effects from? also what program do you use?

  • Okay dude I'm really impressed how good you made the footage look, by changing the contrast! From kind of bad - to good - to WOW!

  • doesnt look real n00b

  • Ok, can you do better? n00b? That's so flippin' out dated. Time goes by, you should think about going along with it.

  • I did mine, check it out

  • where do u get those muzzle flashes? also, what effect did u use in premiere to add the glow? thanks.

  • WOW!!!! THAT WAS SOOOO COOL!!! keep those good stuff goin' dude.

  • That definitely is a good video. Another good program for muzzle flashes is EffectsLab. It specializes in muzzle flashes, neon lights (a.k.a lightsabers), light effects, and particle effects. Anybody who wants to know how to get this program, just message me, i'll be glad to help [if u catch my drift ;0)].

  • yo i was able to dl efects lab lite, but do u know where i can get composite lab or vision lab?

  • Nope. VisionsLab is the most expensive suite that FXhome makes. Unless ur gonna buy it, i don't know where u can get it.

  • hey yo, I need something like EffectsLab for my own home movies, ya know where I can find it?

  • If u give me ur email address, i can email u the files for Installing effects lab. I'll put it as an attachment. I've had a lot of people ask me for it, and i tell them to give me their email address, but i never get it. I guess they don't want it that much, but if u do, just message me ur email.

  • I gave it to you trough "message" just making sure you got it. did you get it?

  • No i haven't. I got it from some one, not u though. Send it again.

  • Cool! Great idea deleting extra frames from after the trigger's pulled! Also for people who don't have premier, if you have a Mac a cool and cheap compositing program that comes with muzzle flashes is PorcFX (www.porcfx.com). I used to use final cut for all my stuff, but now I can usually get by just with iMovie and Porc,

  • thats awesome your video really looks like film

  • hey with the "glow" you put in is that an effect in premiere if so what is it

  • Wow, this has given me very good advice (especially of taking frames out to make it look more powerful), thnx!!!

  • I posted a vid response... thanks for the tutorial!

  • great stuff =] =] =] =] =]

  • Gooood... Great actor and director. Keep going!

  • yeh...how DO u get that muzzle effect???

  • awsome, where do you get a muzzle flash effect? I had to use a "reflection" effect in my video but it sort of worked. tell me what you think...
