  • Talking about it helped me a lot. But not to a camera. You need a support group and support from your family. We need to educate our families about this illness. Most of us push our self away from our family or they push us away. I use compassion for others to help remove the anger and emptiness inside of me. I instill the positive in my life. I am done with the VA! I am not asking for handouts I am asking for help!

  • You can help. Every $10 donation to a raffle (win $50K) allows us to train service dogs for these men and women. Think about it? helpkyriadotcom

  • Your not alone bro, im a Marine veteran, had brothers murdered over seas, i saw a few of them killed, and i still to this day have nightmares man. It will never get any easier, i go to the psych and all that bullshit, but it doesnt help. I go to PTSD group tomorrow, so hopefully that will help me out more. But yeah man, some of the things that happened to you over seas will stay with you until you die bro.

  • Come on man, from one vet to another. You're using cheese and wine language talking to a beer and peanuts crowd.

  • I know what that patch is.......... Cool it with the dramatic talk buddy

  • Do you still have PTSD?

  • @chanamang is there a cure for it???

  • @93CFD im not sure theres exactly a cure but alot of people can get over it over time with the help of a psychologist or therapist

  • You have a voice. But more importantly you have a listening ear that wants know. I wouldnt blame if you said "we're all fucked. fuck humanity. Im goin bush". People like you should be our leaders. Don't be silenced. Please get more soldiers to tell thier storey.

  • my essence feels detached, my mind in a state of frozen shock, my body limping along on from a detached being who doesn't feel here.I Feel almost faregone, wandering...looking...searching...binded with so many burdens of pain and suffering it could cause thousands to collapse into emotional distress. My heart doesn't feel anything anymore, i am already too far lost, already too far gone

unable to be called back from the dark Although i exist physically...

i long ago died on the field of battle

  • we feel ya bro, iam a afghanistan VET, civilians dont give a ratsass all they care about is their dancing with the stars and their drive trough food,

  • as a future army officer, I thank you for sharing your story with me and providing me with knowledge about how soldiers that have been deployed are affected by their experiences.

  • thank you for your service. hope you are doing better.

  • I fought for the Zionist NWO and got medals for it. Hmmm.....Baghdads coming to the U.S. baby. Can't wait. Y'all want it because you do nothing about. Peace.

  • thank you for ur sharing , we r proud of you. hope u r doing good

  • I wouldn't wish the past 4 years that I have lived on my worst enemy. PTSD sucks.

  • you do really have to respect the troops because only surviving the war is half the battle the other half is when u come back into the real world than living over there in iraq which is just madness i mean the mental aspect is horrifying because you see so much bad shit over there and once your mind goes its hard to get back normal some people understand because ou have been in war others dont and look at you like some freak.god bless the troops.

  • Thanks for sharing your story and helping to raise awareness on PTSD.

  • Thank you for sharing that story - i know it cant be easy + I may or may not make sence so forgive me - but you did your best in the little time you were given to help her - and I know I'll be cursed out on youtube for saying it... but I belive she's in a better place and you should talk with the King about it....my King will take that burden off - and give you peace again - but only - if your willing to leave it in his hands- and not go back for it....

  • I commend you on your Honesty

  • Hey man, I served and im haveing a hard time to from my tour in Afghanistan. Your not alone pal.

  • For me, I get strikes of PTSD.... it comes down into my spine, and I just crumple up in fear, It's as something were trying to hunt me...and when it happens, I just see flames all over

War induces its punishment on all soldiers, and there needs to be a infrastructure to help every soldier, no matter what side he is on, and society should not glorify war and distort the image of it further.... I hope you find peace within yourself man.

  • I wish you peace of mind and have the utmost respect of your mental sacrifice in a world gone mad.

  • I found a friend who hung herself a week ago. I am not a soldier and obviously you guys have seen far worse but you know what I totally relate to your video man. How are you now? Holy shit.

  • Sorry to see these cases of PTSD. We should all learn from Americans. They are tough and never fear anything. Look at the film Patton. I think he was the only American to get PTSD, and Patton tried to shoot him on the spot. US Generals are fearless and expect the same from American GIs.

  • props to you bro. thank you for fighting for my freedom

  • Thanks for posting, Bro. I'm an Iraq vet. I needed this.

  • Thank you for talking about I hve ptsd to, only my ptsd comes from gang wars in the good old , usa, lol

  • Watching your video reaffirms how much I want to help veterans returning with PTSD. I am currently an undergraduate psychology major and my goal in life is to specialize in trauma and PTSD.

Thank you so much for your service to this country.

  • Thank you for serving for our country! I have not served in the military but I have had PTSD. I held my dead 3 yr. old daughter in my arms after she was crushed in a car crash...I know the horror of seeing death, especially when it is someone close to you! My sanity was saved by a christian EMDR therapist. It's the only way to get through the nightmares, sleeplesness and flashbacks! This therapy has truly been a God send. I now have hope and peace again. Time and therapy, man. Keep talking...

  • Thank you for your service. Not many are willing to speak openly about their PTSD. You are a real warrior.

  • You have more courage than you know. My heart goes out to you. I don't know much about treatment, but I've experienced hypnosis by a doctor under medical conditions and it's helped relieve trauma. They say that when a person undergoes this kind of shock to the brain and emotions, it's almost like a small death. The hypnosis is a regression back to before the event, and may take several months. I feel for you, thank you for being so brave to protect us here.

  • hey buddy dont worry your not alone! I served in the british army for 9 years. was in iraq in 2003 and still have trouble! i write about it and do work with charity! if you need a stranger to vent of at give me a shout ok! No B.S i know what it's like pal!

  • @Pinkchyo your fucking right we are all puppets.. your a puppet to.. the sad thing about you being a puppet is that you claim to know shit about the real world and yet you only post comments about it...sad lil soul you are go back to your solitary life

  • Thank you for your service, you are a man of courage. My son too has PTSD. He has been out almost 3 years. It was really tough at first. He now sees a VA counselor, and it is still a rough road, but the counseling is helping a little.

  • thank you for your service. You are a brave soul.

  • its not your fault

  • you are our hero....thank you

  • I almost feel weird saying thank you for your service...because part of me mourns that service because of the traumatic effects it is having upon your life now. Thank you for saying something. I wish you peaceful sleep one day.

  • Well done, Soldier. I wonder if the woman who died in your arms could be commemorated by you in some way. Maybe in a ceremony like for fallen soldiers in Iraq. Perhaps with some things you think she might have liked. You tried to save her & you're connected now. Maybe lay her to rest and mourn a bit.

  • It's good to get it out. A lot of people can't, and vlogs like yours, can help. Thanks for posting it as a response.

  • great vid.

i think this would be way more appropriate as a vid response to a vid done on this subject from justa11en called 'Veteran Suicides, PTSD, and Election 08': DOES AMERICA CARE?'

  • Thanks
